There once was a team, named Vixens
They were busy eating turkey with fixins'
They felt too full to bike or run,
Could not get it done
and the Elves took their rightful place... December Cham-pi-on

Evil Elves,

This is gonna be a good finish

At least the poem he did here rhimes!  I think he lost some inspiration on ours....

Hey "tough" guy...might want to check out the sheet....we ain't no Chicago Bulls (blow a 38 point lead in the 3rd quarter) or New England Patriots (lose one game all year....)

Hey team! I'm plugging along.  Swim goal is a definite and I WILL make sure I get the runs in.....hoping SAnta brings me some cold weather gear as we have temps in the 20s for a high and 15+ inches of snow.  The snowbanks are shoulder high so running on the roads is a little tricky!!

Teams are numbered, three, two, one
So feel the freedom, feel the sun
Elves break through the barrier clear
Elves standing tall to feel the cheer.

Other teams turning inside out
Round and round in grave doubt,
So pity for those listless vixens
That will flounder when the month ends.

One challenge , two dimensions we'll beat you sore!
Because that will be the day that opens the door
Bettering the vixens for all to see
For Elves are the best that can be!

Got my shopping done today and am now working on menus and food for the week.  We are having an open house for Christmas for our friends without family nearby.  Should be fun.  But I have a lot of cooking to do!!!

Erica- Ask your doc about a peak flow meter.  It's a little device you blow into that measures how forcefully you can blow out.  It would be a way to monitor Cole's asthma (at home) that he might actually have fun with and it would let you know when things are heading south.

Maybe if you elves spent more time training and less time making up poetry you would stand a chance....

Got in a 40 minute run, albeit at a very slow pace(butt still a little achy, but was okay on slower pace) and a 30 minute bike ride plus a little upper body strength session.

Got in a bike and a swim...  almost at 100% on the bike, swim is going to be close since I will not have access to a pool for about 4 days coming up here...

As a side note, I think Jorge is trying to kill me....

I can't imagine why you couldn't try it out in the pool, but be sure to rinse it thoroughly when you get out.  You are going to sweat with it in in a pool, though.  I know what you mean about getting it on.  When I was buying mine I had to try on about 5 or 6.  That was a workout all by itself! haha

I realized that it was a death wish before I got started.  Decided I wasn't ready to die yet.  Will try his plan next winter.

Silent night
Holy night
Elves will lose
Despite their fight

Round your elves up
And give up the game
Slackers and losers
We put you to SHAME!

GO VIXENS!

Just thought I would send a little love over to those evil elves!  They are motivated over there...We need to stay on top!  Let's all get in those workouts!!!!
