Subject: RE: 30 runs in 30 days - who's with us?I haven't gotten back to the running every day thing, yet, but just to pass along the effect that it has had on my running (up until I dropped due to injury): Just before starting this challenge I set a 5k PR of 23:03 on Sept. 1st. I managed to do 25 days of this challenge, then had to essentially take two weeks off to let a foot/heel issue settle down. Today, I ran another 5k race... set a new PR of 20:29. That's 2:34 taken off of my 5k time in just under two months -- all because of this simple challenge. During that span, I also set a 10k PR. Run lots, mostly slow, sometimes fast -- it works! |
