barqhead - 2008-02-22 8:16 PM Sort of. He drop shipped a personal order of swim stuff and invited as many of us to get in on it to save shipping costs. I ordered some goggles. They came in today and he gave them to me. When I got off duty, I asked him about the money from the earlier incident and he said next week. I told him I would pay for the goggles when I got the money. Then I left. Tonight he sends out an e-mail about a butterfly stroke clinic and encourages us all to come and learn how to teach fly. But he doesn't say what time the clinic is. So I e-mailed (to him only) that he didn't list the time of the clinic on his e-mail. He sent me a very short reply back and STILL did not tell me the time of the clinic. We were once pretty good friends so this is kind of distressing to me.

I hope he doesn't think I'm making some sort of power play with the goggles thing. But I want my money. Everyone else has gotten paid except for me. I tried to get the woman's e-mail address from my boss since she won't return my calls but he was like "I'll take care of it". And I think one of my coworkers turned in his notice today. But I don't know that for sure. Sorry you're alone in PA listening to me whine about my stupid job.

barqhead - 2008-02-22 8:35 PM Yeah, I did. Before he became my boss we trained a lot together. We raced together. We joked around a lot. He was a good friend. We'd call each other to see how we did on races and stuff. He and our old boss did not get along at all. He turned in his notice and left. One month later, she turned in her notice. I was so excited when he told me he'd taken the position and was coming back. But then it was like he didn't know how to act around me once he came back. Last week felt almost like normal. We were laughing and joking again. Now this. Not sure what is up.

His boss recently was promoted to Executive Director of our branch so now he reports to his office mate who was also promoted. Officemate seems very nice and must do a good job in order to get that promotion. He was over youth sports and that is a lot of responsibility.
