I think my company is finally starting to take off but that means little time for anything else. However I did manage to fit in a swim, bike, run, and 2 strength workouts. Hope everyone is doing great |

Glad the weather is crap and I could not commute if I wanted to, but tomorrow it starts and I still have to get some running and swimming in as well. Beth - give me my gumption back please!!!!! You guys have a good day of training - I might get to the pool tonight after work and before a meeting, but I am not counting on it. Oh where is my gumption, where is my gumption. I got no gumption, so I need some gumption! waidaminute - I'm not a gumption stealer! It must have been someone from another team that stole your gumption - I'm on a mission to find it for you! |

Sugar is bad???? Dee - I am hoping it is because I got nothing and can only start with the diet and go from there. Just had blood work done recently and never heard from the doc so I must be alright, but my tank is empty and I am avoiding Pepsi to refill it and seeing if that helps! Personally, I always blame the home improvement for wearing me out. My arms are still tired from scraping the floor on Sunday night |

Extreme Veteran 416 Mercer Island, WA | Subject: RE: Cheesecake Lovers Yay! I finally did my first workout in a week? Two? I can't remember. I did a 3 mile hill workout. Then I went home and did 11 miles on a hilly/windy bike course, and then ran 1 mile. It looks like I lost the ability to run by missing workouts! :-( Tonight I will be hitting the pool for a 2,000+ yard workout. |

Just had blood work done recently and never heard from the doc so I must be alright, but my tank is empty and I am avoiding Pepsi to refill it and seeing if that helps! Hey, just had to add my 2¢ worth: If you don't feel right, call your doc just to make sure your blood work was normal. I can give you several examples of how incompetent doctors have been in my world lately. I never heard back from my last bloodwork, called, the receptionist said everything was normal. (Which didn't make sense as I know my thyroid is underactive and my SLE was flaring up) I said I wanted to pick up the report--so she had it waiting for me after work. Well, the less than half of the testing that was done was normal. However, there were notes on more than half of the tests that they could not be done because my samples arrived at room temp when they should have been chilled, etc. They typically don't read the results, just look for the big highlighted flags for abnormal results. Even if there are abnormal results, you are not guaranteed to actually be contacted. Can you tell I'm holding a little grudge? Sorry, I'll shut up about that now. Hope everyone is having a good day. |

Exactly what I was thinking when I read that! Don't want a relapse!! Thanks for the concern! I am all worried, because I still have a lingering cold/congestion. I had to cancel the two half marys I had planned for the upcoming two weekends (I'm a weird one, I know). So, the only benefit will be an unplanned women's tri on June 28 that I was not going to be able to do! The only downside is the swim is only 1/4 mile and the bike is 14 miles, meaning my best event is cut in half and my worst is lengthened! POOP. |

You are soo gonna do fine! just remember that they do not stop and it is one hour of lap after lap after lap! flip turns are helpful, but not mandatory...I still find myself not doing them when I share the lane...don't want to kick anyone and hurt them! so, ask for your mom....and poof she is here....have a great day! ****poof**** gone! |

Good advice! I *always* get copies of my tests. (I actually graph my thyroid results, because we've had such a tough time getting the values to where they need to be. The graph has been GREAT at getting my doctor to see/visualize my progress (or lack thereof). ) And yes, there have been times when the results came back -- and there's been a test missing! Sometimes, I lucked out and caught it early enough that the lab still have my blood sample, and they were able to do the test. Once or twice though, I had to go back in for another draw.
