The one I would borrow belongs to The Blonde's father - I don't even know what kind it is, but he's in Hawaii for two weeks so maybe later. I'll get plenty of pool time starting next weekend or so - she's house/dog sitting for her boss, who is going to England and then on a cruise to the Baltic... they're going to be gone three weeks, so we'll have access to their house, pool, etc. All good. I need to get some floaties because I'll be spending July 4th in a pool covered with sunblock. I'm not going ANYWHERE. Actually, that sounds like a really nice July 4th holiday. Hanging out by the pool (with floaties and sunblock). Ahhhh, yep. I'd enjoy that.  |

She's done one marathon, finished 4:something. Shingle Springs is just too far away... I'm not going to drive 20+ miles to run with someone. I've rearranged my training sched so I'm running only during the week, so I have the weekends free to play or ride my bike. Wow, 4:something in a marathon? That's sooooooooo fast. The only way I'd see someone like that would be if I was standing still with a camera in my hand, and managed to take a picture as she went by. LOL |

Taji jumped over the coach onto the console table. Griffin decided that the shortest path was over me. Unfortunately, he jumped a little short and hit me in the nose. I have a scratch and I think it's a little bruised. Crazy cats. |
