kns57 - 2009-02-28 7:45 PM We have therapy dogs that come into the library every other weekend for the kids to read to.  It is a blast watching a kid read a book to the dogs.

ROTFLMAO!!!!
My 3 yo is always trying to share his toys with the cat.

That is great.  I'm looking forward to April when my grandkids will be here and see how the cats react after having no kids around for two years.  Bet they go into hiding for the whole week.  LOL

Kids???  Our cat took three years to warm up to ME!!!!

Well you are a crazy BT Nibbette

That reminds me... I need to go to Co Lib site... a magician that we're considering is touring the libraries... thought I'd go check him out first..

Usually if a library is using them, they are pretty good.  We would always check out performances or check with other libraries before we hire anyone.

Funny, I checked out the calendar and only two of the libraries have it posted online...
Looks like there's a show Mon night at 7 not too far from where we live.

geauxtri - 2009-02-28 6:46 PM Speaking of the kitties tonight...

I don't think our kitty is going to make it much longer...

He put NO weight on this winter (if anything he lost more

I think it will hit hubby and 3 yo the most.

Ooooh ... poor kitty. I love all the fur creatures, it's so sad when they don't do well.

I feel double the pain for this cat... he's so tolerant of our little one who will pull on his fur and tail.  and he doesn't budge.
I noticed this winter that he's spent most of his time on top of the heating vents... I never noticed that before this year.

I'm in big debate on if to take my son to his school's reading ordeal Monday.  You bring a pillow and a book, find a space in the gym and read.  The first 300 get doughnuts...  I can't imagine 150 parents reading to their children in that tiny gym.

I'ts funny.  If I'm not home the cats will stay with Frank.  The minute I'm home they are always with me.  And they will sleep, one up against my back, the other at my feet.  Makes it hard to move around at night.

I thought if the weather was nice I'd just pack a "picnic" and stop at the park on way to walking him to school and read a book there, where it's nice and quiet
I can't stand reading in noisy places.... of course I'm so anal, I don't even appreciate it if the boys interrupt too many times when I'm reading bedtime stories...
I know, I have a problem...
