Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge givemashot - 2009-11-07 9:09 PM Thanks, Tom. Well, I have already had to modify my goal, due to the hubby's surgery and whatnot. So, I have decided to condense it all and make it super simple... 10 sessions of a minimum of 15 minutes of anything...swim, bike, run, p90x (if I ever get my DVD's), yoga, core, etc. I'm just really feeling the need to simplify. simplify, simplify. Simplicity is bliss. You definitely have enough going on up there without worrying about the details like that. 10 sessions is an awesome goal, and I know you can do it! Stay active and as always, take care of the family. We've got your back! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Hello Team!! Getting in from a fun birthday celebration for a friend's 60th!!. Got a run and bike in before several hours of dancing.....might be a little sore in the morning but well worth it. Nothing like a little Motown to get a person moving.... Hope you all are having a great weekend!! |

Long enough to feel like an accomplishment but not so long as to be painful and too time consuming. we can keep each other going!Artemis - 2009-11-07 6:00 PM iowagander - 2009-11-07 3:59 PM mndymond - 2009-11-07 12:53 PM Hey Team! Just powered through a 10km'er! WOOOOOO!!! New runners and all! Fantastic! My fantasticly EPIC playlist included: some Bon Jovi, some Phil Collins, some Lady Gaga, some MACARENA!!!! and other 90's dance tunes! Haha Nice job Melissa! My playlist today was Trivium, but I'm weird like that. I got a little over 3 done today and I have 5 on tap for tomorrow. Yay for Hal's plans! Hal Higdon's plans are really good. What distance are you training for right now? Sorry if I missed that before. I'm training for the Carlsbad Half Marathon on Jan 24. It'll be my first HM. My longest recorded run ever at this point is 6.5, so I'm a bit nervous but really excited at the same time. |

Since I'm not training with anyone around here, it's nice to have my Gabbers to hold me accountable On a side note about this distance, a friend of mine got a great shirt when she ran a half last month. It said: HALF MARATHON I like it because it's shorter, and I'm lazy like that I'll have to see if I can find that shirt in ogre size at the expo! Edited by iowagander 2009-11-08 12:49 AM |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Morning Gobblers. Just back from my "long run" in the pool. Knee did not cooperate yesterday, so still going to aqua jog for now. My HM is realistically out of the picture, unless they move it from Fairmont Part to the Scuylkill River. |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Musings from a "long run" in the pool..... - One and half hours is a mind numbing amount of time to aqua jog - There are people who swim slower than I do - For some people, sharing the lane with an aqua jogger is like not sharing at all. The jogger just has to dodge and duck as you flail by. - By middle age, most men should know that white/cream board shorts are a bad idea |

I'm spending the last day of vacation sitting by the pool and listening to live music. I'm on my crackberry so someone else will have to update the spreadsheet for me. I got 5 run/wralks in this week along with two strength workouts.Tomorrow we drive the 10 hours back home. Not looking forward to the ride but it will be nice to get back home and then take the time to catch up on all that has been happening on BT this week. Got it updated for you. Have a safe drive home!! Thank you Jen! |

It would classify as a thong for men. Left nothing to the imagination and believe me, I would rather have my imagination than what he was strutting with. |
