He was a vampire that lived around the late 1700's. There was a TV show about him from the late 60's to early 70's, then again in the 90's I believe. They are making a movie about Barnabas Collins and Johnny Depp is set to play BC. The reason I am telling all of you this, is because Barnabas Collins is buried about 3 miles from my house in an old cemetary I frequently run and ride past. We used to hang out in the cemetary when I was in high school. We'd get drunk, but wouldn't do any damage. However other people have visited and not been so kind. There are only a few headstones remaining that haven't been broken. Stupid people. stupid people, indeed. but YAY. Johnny Depp doing any movie/playing any character is a YAY in my book. i loooove Johnny Depp. What she said. |

ANYONE WANT TO MEET FOR HAPPY HOUR??? |

Been a busy morning here at work. We came into 39 crates of books to check in and get on the shelves. We have two crates left to go and are doing a good job with keeping up with the shelving. What a great staff I have. Where did all of the books come from? I offered to take some books from two branches that were overcrowded. Just didn't expect to get them all in one shot. Both branches apologized once they realized what they had done to us, but gee, 1000+ books transfered in one day. What were they thinking. That's a lot of books! What Robin said! and my back is now killing me. Need a hot tub and a massage. |

They really don't reair soap operas do they? |

Looks like the show in 1991 used the same name. Dark Shadows. From TV Acres: In 1991, a prime time revival of DARK SHADOWS on the NBC network starred Ben Cross as Barnabas Collins, the vampire with a Byronic soul. Despite the moody atmosphere and luxurious special effects, (compared to the original series) the public just didn't sink their teeth into this revamped supernatural tale. It was soon canceled. |
