For the most part I was doing a nice easy spin in the small chain ring, but as certain things happened during the game I popped into the big chain ring and did sprints. Times were as follows: 30 seconds: First downs, sacks, 4th down stops 1 min: Field goals, turnovers, plays over 30 yards 1:30: Touchdowns, blocked kicks, plays over 50 yards 2 min: Defensive touchdowns, Kick/punt returns It made the time fly by and there was a decent amount of offense during the game so I got a good workout in too |

Turns out riding the trainer last night I made the thermal cut off coupling fall out of the ceiling so we have no heat. Interesting that my riding killed the heat and it is now 52 in our house. The heating guy asked if we were jumping around above the furnace..nope....ah we then recalled my trainer is above the furnace room....oh well..now to go run in the snow!

SWEET Good riding! You also moved up into 3rd place, by a scant 14 points! No riding outside here...we've gotten about 18" of snow in the past 2 days.

Tomorrow will be interesting to see who gains a bit from the weight loss bonus. I'm still amazed at the number of BT-ers that haven't missed a day of riding, hence the group of them with 100 bonus points!

Christmas cookies: 1, Debbie: 0 No bonus points for me this week. (Again.) LOL Debbie...it could be worse, there could be no loss AND you could be not enjoying the cookies, so you have to look at the bright side! Plus you should move up in the standings and overtake me because you still have the bonus point streak. I am 90 points behind there, so I need to ride 90 extra minutes EVERY DAY just to stay ahead of you. I did lose 2 lbs this week so that will help for a couple days, but by mid week you should be going past me!

I am so happy that I joined this challenge because I would probably be up 5 pounds and would have found every excuse NOT to get on the drainer. Once again ...Max you are the best!!! Yes, they were good cookies... I'm glad my weight didn't go up (much)! Now that you've got it sorted by the points, I realize I'm doing better than I thought I was. Those bonus points are a real incentive for me. There have been a few nights when I was tired and would rather have just vegged on the couch, but I just had to get on the bike to hang onto the points. Makes me realize just how competitive I am. |
