Subject: RE: Men's May Challenge ThreadNice post padding, Bill! I got a 45 minute trainer ride in this morning. I'm doing a mini taper for what will now be a mini sprint race on Saturday. I'm going to the Y at lunchtime to do a 1/2 hour swim in my wetsuit to get the feel for that once again. Then a short run tomorrow morning and one day off before the "big"  race. The most difficult part of this race is the ocean swim. Every year (this will be my 3rd ), it's a total shock to the system. The water will be around 56-58 degrees and that just freaking HURTS! It's less of a swim and more of a mad paddle for survival. |
