Morning IRONMAN NEAL!! I boycotted 8am lecture. Still in bed. I'm feeling kinda lazy since you are up already Neal...haha Since you skipped lecture you should go out for a 20 mile run. That seems a little harsh...and my 20mile run is later this week...like...Thurdsay morning, Sat morning or Sun morning...haha...most likely not Thursday. I will catch up I promise!!! I am all caught up in lectures before today and I have a 3 hr break before swimming tonight. Well I also have to prep for Branko...but I have time... Yes. Yes it is harsh. Have you seen me be a candy azz in here though?  Ummm...maybe? Haha. I was tired so I slept more. (I might have gotten really into my book last night--oops...also just as an aside: there is a character named Neal. Neal, are you a brawny youth who is good with horses by any chance? haha ) 20miles is going to hurt...the 21-22miles is going to hurt more...26miles=:' ( haha I know you have the marathon coming up that's why I went with 20 miles. How has the marathon training been going? Good! Well "good"...my azz occasionally decides to be difficult and interfere with my training so my frequency is not where it should be. I've finished off a 28k and a 30k. After both it has really been my low back that has bothered me and I need to lie down to chill it out. I think I need to stick to the formula of 1 short, 1 med flat, 1 med hills and 1 long run until right before taper time...which will prob just be 1week to 1.5weeks...I need to have a sit down meeting with myself and plan this out. How is your training going? I know you haven't been feeling 100% and took the week off...but how has it been before that? The week before I got sick was the first week I really felt like my running was improving. I had some really good runs that week and a good 27km run. I'm hoping that the week off was a good thing. My frequency isn't where I'd like it to be either. Take care of your back! Haha. I will, don';t worry. I had to lie on the med changeroom floor (no one else was there ) in a towel after my shower because it was so angry from supporting my upper body. Ah well you've said it yourself to me that your fitness won't change in a week. You can do it Ann!!! |
