That's awesome to hear, Jamie! My mom told me she already booked us a room at Deerhurst for the race. I am so pumped. With me not having a job, I'm gonna start a new program in January, too. I am thinking I may do a full marathon in the late spring, before getting heavy into the HIM training. 

Whenever you do a training weekend in Huntsville, let me know! I will for sure be there to ride the course with you!

I recently started training again too... my calves hate me for it.

YUMMY NEW AVVIE!

Yea, BT does NOT like iPhones/iPads. It's brutal!

It happened 2 weeks ago. I was "terminated due to lack of work". So back to the drawing board for me. I will, however, take time to find something I think I will really enjoy, since this is NOT it. 

Well, I started my current job the day after my HIM in May and truthfully, haven't done any regular training at all since then.

So uh, 7 months? 

Yeesh, that's embarassing.

But I'm finally fully staffed, have everyone trained, not planning on firing anyone soon, so I'm leaving work by a decent hour every night and can get back into some sort of routine.

See now I am going to cry I miss training with you at the gym.  I guess Godzilla will have to make up for it as best he can.

Yea, I know it's going to be tough. I may resign myself to taking a well paying job for a few more years and save up, so that I can actually do what I want to, which will probably require more schooling or an internship.

If anyone can make up for it, it's him.  That boy was nothing if not motivational. 

I miss spinning with you lots.  I'm in the awkward position now of having to make new friends at my current gym.  Seeing as I'm obnoxious and constantly inapprpriate, I'm not sure anyone knows what to make of me just yet.

Oh yes he is quite motivational!!!  And he loves me!

He's got me pushing 7 plates a side (total of 675 lbs) on the incline leg press now and benching 150 on a good day.
