I am assuming that you are following the recommended "acclimation" process of gradually using the orthotics, etc.?  Pressure on your foot is definitely going to change, which could cause blisters if you are blister prone.  And, obviously, the rest of your body is going to need to adjust to your modified posture, as well.

hey, I got to ride my bike today Never know what I'll squeeze in on my weekend to work...So if I change jobs it would be a Mon-Fri gig doing insurance reviews and such.  Part of me wants to try it and part of me would hate doing nothing but paperwork all day (does that make me schizophrenic?) But I've been in the field a LONG time and have worked W/E, off shifts, holidays...the whole thing for 30+ years and would like to have a job I can leave at the end of the day.  Training around it could get interesting, but I see a whole lot of othe people handling training around a regular schedule like that so it's not an excuse...

How sad is this...I'm watching Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion and the worst part is, I'm laughing. Yikes!

I think my workouts this morning have altered my brain.

Well I'm back from my 5 mile running race, plus 2.5 miles of walking with my wife, followed by a 1 hour trainer ride.  Wow, where's the sofa and the red wine? 

Side note;  I painted my fingernails a lovely shade of pinkish muave (as best as I can describe it) and left it on for the running race.  I had several of the women in the registration area ooooh-ing and ahhhhhh-ing over the color.  One even said, "I don't know why more guys don't paint their nails, it actually looks kinda hot!"  Hey, I'm tired of women having all the fun...it's my quest to get more guys to paint their nails and get in on the good times too!

Great... we'll be on our way, you don't have to tell me twice. Oh, and just so you know, Zeke wants to eat every other dog except Annie... and he'd really like to eat cats, squirrels, and especially ducks (he is a lab, afterall). This is really inconvenient since we have a duck that nests under our bay window. It's as if the duck is mocking him...

When I grow up, I really want to be a sommelier. At present, I'm stuck being an oenophile. (Yeah, it's hard to say, but its classier than calling myself a wino.)

HI Gang!!!

What a slow day on the thread? Things are still hopping for me.

Love all the doggies. I went to post a pic o0f mine and realized I didn't have any saved, went to take a pic of her to upload, and she just walked away with a snod look, what a b**ch (literally). She's 101 lbs of Akita/Lab mutt. She has very long legs and carries her weight quite well. If doggies with long legs were models... she'd be Naomi Campbell (but we call her Soleil) Though I don't think Naomi is turning grey yet, as Soleil is... I'll try to get a pic later.

Well, gotta get some work done at home. Hope to MAYBE get a short run in today. I can;t believe TG is this week and it's 70 degrees outside (in Utah) !!!!
