Oh my.... is there such a thing as healthy eating friendly cheesecake?

Bring a can of Lysol. Threaten anyone who comes within 10 yards of you. BTW, did you know that some kinds of stomach virus can survive for several hours in a chlorinated pool? (Did that cheer you up?)

They do usually tell yuo not to swim if youve had an upset tummy dont they? Not that anyone would listen I guess... especially people trianing for triathlons....

Hey Cat, thanks! I actually did O.K., grabbed a quick bowl of chicken soup, an orange and some apple sauce. Pretty darn good for eating on the run. The work-place here is pretty progressive. They've got a fridge they keep stocked with fruits and veggies. They're trying to promote healthier snacking (since I do work for a food company). It's all on the house! It's great!

I live in North Carolina. Around here, they think fried pork rinds are healthy. In fact, a TV crew went to a local supermarket and asked why they didn't stock more "healthy fruits and vegetables." The store manager replied, "Because that's not what our customers buy." *sigh* But, on the bright side --> The store never runs out of Little Debbies!

Wow I wish we had free food here.... there are vending machines and a cafe.. so you can get healhy stuff at least!

Dee - where you live sounds like the non-Americans view of what it seems to be like in the USA based on a lot of the news reports we get! (not everything of course but...)

Funny, I was balking (chalking? ) at a 10K today, too--went and pounded it out anyway, though, barely made it to work on time.

I dont get any of that kind... unfortunatley the recipe is kind of complicated and takes two people to bake it...

Nah, I didn't give him my phone number. I'm an idiot and am entangled in an impossible relationship. To my credit, though, yesterday I did accept a date for Saturday from a really nice guy. Sigh.

Aww, Judi ... actually it's the one you've been rooting for since the beginning ... the skinny nerdy redhead ... I wondered why I hadn't heard from him for a few weeks after our first two dates, but had forgotten that he literally works 2-3 weeks at a stretch, no days off, all day.

He is such a nice boy. I feel completely at ease with him, like there is nothing I COULDN'T say, do, or be in front of him.

Ummmm, uh, uh, yes. The date with the "someone else" turned out to be a wash.

This guy is indeed incredibly patient, and yes, he always gives me (at least) half of his dinner.

Thats sounds like a pretty great person to have around!
