Today is June 19th, and the month is now 64% finished. Are YOU achieving your goals???? Well, here's a little EXTRA INCENTIVE FOR YOU.....

You may now achieve 110% of your individual goals!

For example:
Your swim goal may now reach 110%
Your run goal may now reach 110%
Your bike goal may now reach 110%
Your "other" goal may now reach 110%

What does this mean?
- If you want to give yourself an extra push and challenge yourself this month --> GO FOR IT!
- If you have a teammate who is lagging --> Here's your chance to HELP YOUR TEAM!

Each individual goal will be capped at 110%. (In other words, you can't do 125% of a goal.) This means that you could, conceivably, rreach a "super achiever" 110% total.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and do some training!

- Dee

What am I waiting for - What am I waiting for - I tell you I am waiting for this crappy weather to disappear and be nice out.

I mean it is June 19th already - Don't you think it would be warmer than 60 degrees in June? Well I do!!!!

Thanks for the added push Dee! Let's bring it team so we can skunk the other teams and be victorious!!!!

Yeah, it's been cold here too. And summer officially starts tomorrow. *sigh*

But at least we haven't had to deal with tornadoes and flooding, like the midwest has had....

I was so excited that it was 67 degrees here this morning.  We could trade for a little while.

I'm not trading -- the weather here is perfect, finally!

Yay we get to go for 110%!!!!  I'll definitely hit that w/ swimming.  Decided to include core work in strength training (since coach is nagging me )so I should be able to hit that goal too.  My arms are too tired for swimming if I lift weights the night before, so I haven't been lifting.  Will start riding to work tomorrow - for real this time!!  I have to get some groceries today so there's something to eat here.  Forgot about that part - doh!  Hoping all of this will help my #s.  I've been lazy about running since the marathon but since that was a month ago I need to get over it already.

Time to get serious about this challenge!!!!  Go Cheesecakes!!!

Sorry for my absence lately... but I think I should better drop...

I thought I'd be better as my two days prior to race last week my stomach felt better, but ever since race day, my ITB has been extensively painful (worst than ever)    I am afraid to do ANYHTING.  The other day getting out the car I simply reached over with my upper body and could feel it in my hip/glute.  I tried to get out of bed early twice this week and both mornings I ended up just waking up and stretching, as that I can even feel it when simply lying in bed.

I think it may be best that I re-focus my training right now to some basic strength&conditioning to get my leg muscles balanced and ready to geaux again.  I'm not planning on racing again until Aug 23rd, so I have plenty of time and want to make sure I'm ready and healthy.

THanks for all of your support as I was sick earlier this month, and your support with my race, I truly appreciate it.  I will hang around and cheer you guys on!!!

Now, listen to Dee and MOVE-IT!!!!

That is a bummer - I hope you will still be a cheesecake cheerleader/cattle proder for the team!!!

Take your time and realize overall health is the most important aspect of it all in the end.

BTW Tinker Beth has been slow lately - you should zap her with the cattle prod to get her moving

Tinker Beth - I know you are swamped just want to see how you react

Thanks for the understanding Bill...

I've been so busy with work and family too I have no idea what's up with everybody...

I'll head over to Beth's (blog) right now and see what's up...  moving cross country is NO excuse
