I've tried the BBQ thing before, thinking about doing it again on Friday and inviting pretty much everyone I know here in the area. Just don't know if it'd be too early to invite new girl, or a bad idea to invite K (she's coming to the race on Saturday, I'm not sure why, but I guess she wants to show some support?) or if one group of friends would show up, but not the others, or if I'm just thinking about it too much, or what.

Next Friday looks like a drive to Chicago with K. I'm planning on dropping her and the bike at her house and going to see my friends in the city.

Edit: And it's me + BBQ I think both of those things are pretty well super casual. I just don't know how comfortable I'd be with a girl I've not actually met around my friends. Who knows what weird things could happen.

I guess. One wasn't a date, just happened to be hanging out with a hot friend. The other, I think, needs to have a second "date" to be considered a success.
