I'm waiting for BTer jmk-brooklyn to stop by so I can go get my lunch. It takes forever to get in and out of my building so you have to limit the trips. I'm donating a massive bag of skin care products for an auction at his son's school so I need to meet him outside for the hand off before I can eat. It's always nice to see a fellow BTer.

LazyMarathoner - 2008-10-17 12:20 PM Phil, your stupid drunkey monkey made everything hyperlink in my post.

You know what I say to that?  Operator error!

I'm fairly sure it's your fault.

Sure.  Why not.  I was blamed for everything else back in the earlier thread.

My big deadline, the one that kept me at work over 12 hours and ruined my run this morning, is in 15 minutes. Yet here I am checking on the team thread and looking up music on YouTube. I have problems!

I think that's supposed to go: It's raining, it's pouring, the treadmill is boring.

Unfortunately it is most days. I'd rather just train like a pro and take naps. And bake. That would be nice.

14 days left, after today...  I've got either 9 40 minute runs or 6 60 minute runs left to do.  I'll probably do a combination, with some longer runs at the end of the month, as long as my knee keeps improving.  That gives me the option of not having to run 2 days in a row if I plan well, but I probably won't plan quite that well.... after all, it's ski season!  In any case, my percentage may look a bit behind but I'm just about where I planned to be, considering some planned rest days at the beginning of the month.

Now that that's out of the way, maybe I can contribute to the chattiness!  So, what's everyone got going on this weekend?

I've got a ride with the cycling team tomorrow morning, a small bbq at my place tomorrow night, and will hopefully get out to go snowboarding on Sunday.  I've got a creative writing assignment due Tuesday, but I get the feeling it's more for the amusement of the professor than anything else, so I'm not worried.  That's followed by a programming assignment for Thursday, which perhaps I should be more worried about.

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone!

The flogging will be nixed due to you catching your own faux pas, and since you haven't been in for awhile.
