I wish you had seen it sooner too...I really needed a nap a few hours ago...and I was sad you did not come to the lab to get me...

I guess I could go for a nap now...

The interview

I went with a bra and buttoned up, tucked in shirt. I was running late and I changed in a parking lot. I want you to know Bill, that I was more concerned with getting my cuffs buttoned than I was with getting the front of my blouse buttoned.

I was about 3 minutes late for the interview, too. The directions he gave me were very poor. Then I'm pretty sure I blew the interview. I can't spit out the words. If they could put me in front of a machine and say I want you to do this, I could. Instead they ask for the definition of terms. I don't use those terms everyday. I know what they are, but I can't spit out the words to explain them. They did ask me some trouble shooting questions, I answered those without blinking an eye.

At the suggestion of a friend I sent an email thanking them for the interview and apologizing for being late. I also stated that I would be available to come in and SHOW them what I am capable of doing in lieu of spitting out the words. The worst that can happen is they say no.

I got a good 5 mile run in then later in the evening.

Good idea on the follow up e-mail. I'll still keep things crossed for you. I think most people could use a crash course in "how to conduct an interview".

That was a good book. Just don't question the reality of it. I enjoyed it. She has another one that I read that is pretty good, too. But not as fun and the Eight.

Morning Bill

I am out of here to run and do a tad of yard work before taking my mom back for a check up, get nails done and go out to dinner with friends.

These folks are the coolest ever. They are in their 80s and make most 20 year old look lazy. They just got back from driving around italy for a few weeks.

Have great days all.

wgraves7582 - 2010-08-06 7:20 AM I have a confession today:  I am not loving to ride my bike to work like I used to.  I don't even know if I am loving riding my bike at all to be honest with you.

Supposed to go in the morning on a ride with a group so maybe that will change things around - if not I guess winter is almost here!

Sorry, Ann.  It would be nice if part of the interview was actually having you sit down and troubleshoot an issue.  I think that would be more worthwhile than answering questions since that's what you would actually be doing for the job

Things are healing up but I am fatigued beyond belief.  It's a chore to make it though the work day.  And after that I need a nap and have to go to bed early.

That reminds me of one of those bikes with the huge wheels you pedal in the water.

It is amazing how worn out you can get by being beaten up. Rest, eat well, drink lots of water to repair that bod. and then post that assatar
