is TAN any better?

TAN is almost ALWAYS better than work.

Well, for me, at least.  Not a huge fan of work most days.

How's it going?

Are you talking about the version from Hair?  I'm guessing not...

I'm so out-of-touch with today's music.

www.ohcanadaeh.com

I am not looking forward to this...

I'm going to be honest...that looks so bad it's probably pretty funny.

Oh, I'll be laughing my arse off the whole time.  But not because they're trying to be funny....

At least the menu looks decent.  (I have to look forward to something, right?

That's the right attitude.

What are you up to this weekend, Jen?  Any big plans?

Going out for a friend's birthday tomorrow.  Other than that, resting?  I'm hoping to be out of the boot next week so that I can go back to the gym.  Maybe some weight lifting?

Leftover ravioli for me.  Just as good today as it was last night.

I was a bad girl and just comforted myself with some Pop Tarts.

I've really, really, really been trying to stick to a box a week.

There, there.  I'll comfort you.  You don't need Pop Tarts!

Keith, my codependent cowcat love.

You remembered?  Wow!  I still miss the little bugger.

Have you reached detente with your kitties yet?

Right now they're quiet, so they're staving off strangulation.

I had the bright idea to treat them like dogs, and surprisingly, it's working. They're actually very doglike. I was expecting them to be catlike, and such.

My sister's friend has a cat that is basically a dog.  She'll play fetch, give a paw, do tricks, nudge your hand to pet her...  It's actually awesome.  That is my kind of cat.  One that is all the fun of a dog, but the responsibility (none) of a cat.

My cats were totally like dogs, they would come running from the next room when you called them.  I think they become that way if they're kept indoors.

I haven't been to the gym or worked out in almost two weeks.  Between the stress fracture and the strep, it hasn't been a possibility.  On the other hand, having strep timed pretty well since I can't do much training-wise right now anyway.

My cats are kind of dog-like, especially the grey one.  She loves people, she comes running when we get home and wants to cuddle and get petted.  She'll even walk on a leash and play fetch.

Our white and black kitty is a little more scared, but he does get really excited when we're around.  I've watched him throw stuffed animals around and chase them.  It's pretty funny.

Should be out of the boot by Monday and then I can start biking again as long as it doesn't hurt.  That's going to be great!  It'll be another 4 weeks before I can try running again.
