disturbed275 - 2010-10-06 6:41 PM Good evening ghoulies.

I had a decent run this afternoon.  Time to cook dinner and then another p90x workout is on tap.  Should be an exciting evening

Nice run IronNeal. You are a speedy devil. Anxious to hear what you think about p90x. BTW, very cool that your mom bought you a new set.

If I told you what I thought about p90x right now it wouldn't be very positive. LOL.  Soooo sore.......

ironannekidd - 2010-10-06 7:45 PM Good evening Ghoulies!

I had a good 8 mile run this evening. I got to the soccer fields about 10 minutes before the rain started.

I'm glad the run went well!  And that you stayed dry.

Good evening (morning). Home from swimming...feeling a bit beat...felt really..er...bouncy in the water tonight...that is probably the best description. I think its because of a speed switchover from lazy distance to a higher stroke rate and my 3 beat kick isn't cutting it/is ill timed for my stroke rate right now...so ya...Note to self: don't be lazy in the water while swimming freestyle for triathlon...its slow and lazy...so for IM swim training...be less lazy as far as swimming freestyle goes...

No school tomorrow or Fri...except for the final on Fri...so I'll be doing a disney study marathon I think tomorrow at home.

I'm also reading Charlie St. Cloud right now. Has anyone else read it?

So on my ride to work this morning I was thinking about my training schedule. I really don't have an off season this year. Once I finish the MCM there will be a short running break to recover, then I will be back at it again to be ready for Carlsbad.

Once Carlsbad is over I'll be getting ready for the Unite HM.

After Unite, I'll keep my fitness up to get ready for the Ghoulies at the MCM next year. Speaking of which... for those Ghoulies who can't or don't want to run a full marathon, they also have a 10K that day run by the Marines as well.

With having 2 school age kiddos and 3 pooches, that doesn't leave a lot of time at the end of the day. I would like to do at least 1 tri next year though.

We shall see how it all works out.

Thanks! She's having a large bone spur removed from the top of her foot.  This is the 1st of two since she has them on top of both feet.

Same here.  no real off season for me either.  Traing for Jacksonville Bank Marathon.  10 days of revovery, then it roll right in to training for IMTX.
Good to stay busy, though.  Keeps me out of trouble on the road.
