mndymond - 2010-10-18 9:11 AM Hi. Ow. Well the ow isn't as bad as it could be I guess?

I got my offical time. 4:25.16...I am not really all that happy with it, but again, hey...what are you going to do? Haha.

PS: good morning.

That's a very good time for your first!  Be proud of the accomplishment.  You can always work on bringing that time down in subsequent marathons

I'm not unproud...but I'm uncertain of what to feel about it...I know it hurt a lot...but even then I can't really remember the pain...I don't know if that made sense.

PS...I was worse with swimming than I am with tri/running. I have this "nothing is ever good enough/could have been better" thing going on.

Oh...so we did this HILARIOUS photo shoot last night...with leapord and zebra print robes...soooo funny. This weekend is pretty hilarious, I'm not going to lie.

I bought this skirt yesterday, but I was wearing my compression tights and one of the girls thought I was trying to pain these "leggings" with the skirt. They thought I was asking "does this go together"? Hahaha...ummm no...I know it doesn't go together...haha

That makes sense to me.  I know a marathon is going to hurt.  While running it definitely hurts.  But afterward I always wonder if it hurt as bad as I thought it did or if I was just being a weenie and could have really pushed harder.  Even after races where I'm happy with results those thoughts creep in.  I think it's just part of being competitive

Probably. I'm glad someone else has it, because people get mad at me. "What do you want me to say?" Haha. Def competitiveness...

Good morning Ghoulies!

I couldn't get out of bed this morning. My head felt like it weighed 50 lbs. I guess after 2 days of not eating and sleeping very well that's what I get.

I'm up and moving now, but slowly. I have a few things I need to get done around the house today since we were away all weekend.

I'll catch up in a bit.

Soccer worn out. I didn't drink all weekend. There were times I wanted to, though.
