Before any one takes offense re my lack of ice-cream....I just don't have a sweet tooth. (Unless the new one I just got has a different orientation.) I like salty snacks. Ruffles with ridges and onion dip are heaven. Every now and again I make an emergency cupcake run, but it is not often.

Confession Wednesday: We had ice cream in the freezer. I was getting some for my daughter last night and there was only a little left so I finished it off.

Those are a good choice. Hope the mouth doesn't hurt too long.

Thanks Robin. I was a little anxious about doing this right before the marathon, but the filling that cracked was a big one and really needed to be taken care of.

You'll be in front of me. If I see you passed out on the ground I'll drag you to the finish line.

Not at all sure I'll be in front of you, but appreciate any and all assistance. Ghoulie sistah's!!!!

I'm with you. I prefer salty and crunchy to sugary. I'm not a fan of fudge, or even cakes, especially with the really sugary bakery icing. I do like cookies, but only a limited amount of them. Chips are my nemesis.

Better to take care of it before than have to deal with tooth pain during a marathon.

ice cream is soft

Confession Wednesday: I don't have any ice cream in my freezer.

I'm so sorry.

I refuse to buy it that often - the kids eat in 1-2 days.  I try and tell them portion control but that does not work.

I think I got 2 spoon fulls out of the last 2 cartons - they are cut off

My daughter LOVES ice cream, and it's the closest thing to dairy she'll eat. My son doesn't care for it at all. My husband finished a big project for me last weekend so I got him some ice cream as a thank you.

We usually buy ice cream sandwiches at the store. We have gotten addicted to some PB ones we found. I've stopped buying them because we were eating too many.

I am not a huge ice cream fan but we have a local ice cream shop and for some reason, going there makes the ice cream better. A couple of time a year and I am good to go.

All of the good ma and pa shops around here closed up. There used to be one we'd go to and I'd get a Boston shake. It's a milkshake with ice cream in the middle of it. DELICIOUS! I can't get them anymore. A PB Boston shake could make anything  better.

There goes my rant again. I rail against businesses that are not locally owned. I am getting to be a fanatic about it.

Our local shop is owned by the weirdest people. They have a certain kind of ice cream (can't remember which) that she doesn't like so she doesn't sell it. Tells folks to go to town (20 miles away at best) and get it there!
