Well I shoveled half of the driveway...the half that I need...I will figure the tractor out at some point on Sat/Sun and use it for the other half. I think it is going to snow a bit more...so I will probably need to go over the part that I already did as well.

I'm debating what to do with my day...I think I will go for a little swim on my way to get groceries so I don't have to deal with the traffic/snow when it is dark again. It will take them until tomorrow morning to get the roads sorted out.

Good idea, you can get provisions and settle in for the evening smug in your swim workout and shoveling prowess!

I think I'm going to start baking. I have a bunch of stuff to make for some parties.

Taking my Dad's 4x4 truck out when I go. Haha

Baking is a good idea.
I am supposed to go to a town meeting tonight but I think I'll stay home and bake gingerbread cookies and make some Christmas presents instead.

What did all the poking and prodding tell us about Ann?

Hi all. Just made some cookies and rum balls...tomorrow night is shortbread.

Went for a 2k swim before grocery shopping. Bit tired from the early wake up/ other selected fun events of the day like driving in crazyness and shovelling...

Trying to decide what I want for dinner...I think maybe pasta with chicken and some potatoes that need to be used up.

If you have a core workout planned for later I would suggest staying away from chimichangas.

That's just what I've heard..........not speaking from experience..............at all.

Hi Neal. I already did my core workout.

Chimichanga....drink? with rum? or? Haha. I haven't had any cookies or rum...You are welcome to come over and have some if you want. I'm eating a bowl of fruit right now.

Good morning Ghoulies!

I am a tired puppy today. I tossed and turned most of the night. Having all these dam wires all over me made it very difficult to get comfortable to sleep.

The answer is, I don't know. I have to wait for my doc to get the test results back. Since I'm still wearing the holter monitor, and probably won't return it until tomorrow because I'm donating blood this afternoon then taking my kiddos Christmas shopping for their dad this evening I won't be anywhere near the hospital to return it. So the earliest it would get looked at is Monday.

Morning Ghoulies.

I have a quick core workout, then laundry and a few house chores then......

I am going out braving Christmas shopping. Though, most of my shopping is at small stores I have a few items I'll have to go to a chain store for. I dread that.

Talk to you this afternoon.

Thanks.

Actually getting the laundry washed and dried usually isn't a problem. My problem falls with getting it put away. I like to fold clothes on the bed, and it's hard to do when you have kiddos who want to be climbing all over you, and the bed.

I don't even have that excuse. I wash, dry and fold, then I bring it upstares and am "going to put it away later". Often later comes after then next weeks laundry piles up. I hear my mom yelling in my head. Then I have a glass of wine and it goes away.

Off to start the day.

Have good ones.

Grrr

There is a blood drive at my daughters elementary school today. My doctor told me I need to give blood. You do the math. I was poking around the website for the blood bank trying to find the time, and seeing if they'd take walk-ins. I did a quick search for hemochromatosis, too. They won't take my blood. They can't transfuse it to anyone, so they won't take it.

1) I've donated several gallons in my lifetime. I wonder what they did with all of that.

2) I'm a little bummed out that I can no longer donate blood.
