I want to curl up with a book inside or watch a movie...BFF and I are currently mulling over whether or not the guy who's birthday it is will notice if we don't go...we think he will notice if I don't show up specifically because he was mad at me for putting "maybe" to his FB invite... So...we will see where we sit in 4 hrs or so...haha |

My brother sent me a txt this morning that says "You are going to have to shovel the driveway...I could hardly see down this morning..." I am going to proverbially kill him...seeing how he was asked to do it yesterday, nicely I might add, because he didn't have to work until 3 in the afternoon and I ran errands yesterday and was going out...He says on of the chain links on the tractor tires is broken and that he didn't just try to use ANYTHING to fix it for the moment and didn't want to have to shovel it by hand...ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. Justin 3, Melissa 0...car in the ditch, no gas in the truck when he drove it to help his gf out and didn't put gas in, not shoveling the driveway... "CB CB CB CB CB CB CB............" (I can't really decide if I have a case here or not or am just being whiny--I think I have a case...little bit...) Now I am off to the garage to find zap straps, or string? or something.........  |

Well I slept on it last night and right now it is in a pony tail...luckily for you it pretty much looks the same as I just needed to get it cleaned up a bit due to general damage and the sun and salt in Maui...haha. Frustration. Really cold toes because it is still -30 or something. Someone just got a text back with a few choice words and telling him that he gets to deal with the rest of the driveway as well as helping me push the tractor back into the garage when he comes home because it keeps slipping and I am not strong enough to push it back by myself. |

I was up and at my sister's hotel at 7:00 this morning to get my niece and nephew. I had them until just a few minutes ago. I didn't do much today, but I'm worn out! I am off today and so are the kiddos, so a week or so we guilted my husband into taking the day off. I got to sleep in until 6:45 this morning, then even after I woke up I stayed in bed and read for awhile. Then we took the kiddos and went and played basketball at the college for 2 hours. At first it was just me and the kiddos, my husband had to go get bloodwork done, but when he came back he played for a bit. That was the most I have worked out in a LONG time! It was a workout, too, I ran back and forth a lot! It was good though and we had fun. Now I'm making lunch for everyone, and we have some housework to do this afternoon. I think I may fit a nap into my afternoon schedule, too. |
