I was going to take my new shoes out for a run last night but life and beer got in the way.

This morning was another option.....didn't happen.

This afternoon however, is shaping up to be a good time to get a run in.

Don't ya hate it when that damn beer blocks the door or hides your left running shoe. 

We'll be in the mid-70s this weekend.  I can't wait.  Much better for running than 90s. 

Was nice.  Did 3x1 mi repeats (kinda sorta, at least).  Nearly puked on the third one. 

Nearly puking was nice?  I don't get that...

You just don't understand me at all, do you?

*sniff*

5 for me at lunch... no puking. 

Nope.  That is probably why you can run a whole lot faster than me though.  YOu are willing to push yourself hard enough that you feel that way.  I think you's have to be chasing me with a knife or something for me to run that hard.

That can be arranged, if necessary.  Part of my new training system. 

I prefer the "There are really good beers at this bar but we have to run fast to get there before the cute bar-babes go home." technique.

*sigh*

Fine, I have that technique, too.  Works better in race situations though.  The chased by a maniac with a chainsaw technique is for training runs. 

*hrumph*

Try the chainsaw one with Spokes.  I'll stick with the race technique.

do you use the ol' german shepard attack dogs when your in a pinch?

I know you all are not the Jacka$$ type crowd... but did you ever see where they go to the GSD training side and the guy dresses up in the bunny suit?  Lets the GSDs attack him?

And that's that we have been kinda slacking this week.

And running.... 

Just got back from a low and slow 5 mile run @ Recovery Pace. Strapped on the HRM and my shoes and away I went.

HR was a beat or two above where it is supposed to be for a recovery run, but it is warm out today and my pace was just a bit faster than it was supposed to be. (Legs got a bit carried away)

A Tapir is a small Herbivore with a longish prehensile snout and is related to other odd-toed ungulates

Why, yes, WaterDog did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
