I think the perception here down under is its all about the impressive ads Um, I think it IS all about the ads. Well, ok - for me, at least - it's all about the ads. I don't even watch it. (Which means I missed the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction." LOL) But I figured that having to "wear" a losing team's avatar for a month might motivate some people. |

Actually, the goat had glitter, but the file was too large to load on BT as an avatar. So I removed the glitter. |

LOL) 2) No, you're not being petty. It's your food. This is a pretty common complaint among roommates.... What would happen if you put a note on it saying, "Please do not eat this!" |

I seriously might have to start hiding the food in my room (well stuff that doesnt need refridgeration) Am I being petty? Is this your roommate eating your food? If so, I don't think that's petty at all. My roommates and I had an agreement that we wouldn't eat other people's food except for basics like butter, milk, sugar, etc. It drove me crazy when they would eat lots of my stuff because I never ate theirs and I didn't shop as often as they did. My husband eats my food sometimes and I feel a little petty getting mad at him. Still, sometimes he should know not to eat my chocolate or ice cream. |

Nope, I'm just going to let THEM decide how to define "running" or "biking" or "swimming." I don't care if they ride a tricycle, and do dog-paddle, or go crawling up and down the street. Just as long as they can get on BT and log it, and then onto the Google spreadsheet to log it there. My motto this month: "Just do it. (But don't tell me about it, 'cause I don't have time to listen.)" |

I'm willing to believe it's less complicated. It would help if I had seen it more than once or twice. haha probably... the closest sport I can think that its like is baseball? one team is fielding, and they rotate the pitchers (called bowlers in cricket). There are two guys hitting... and they run between two points (like bases but are made of wood and called wickets) Each time they run between two points its counted... so 1,2,3,4 etc The hitters (called batters) can get out if the ball is caught on the full or the ball hits the wickets (either on bowling or when they are running between the wickets - like in baseball where the person on base can catch the ball and make you out except instead they have to knock the wooden sticks instead) Thats basically it.... each team has 10 members and all 10 have to be out before the next team gets to bat (in test cricket.... in one day cricket they bowl a set numbers of balls before the teams change over) Team with the highest score wins...
Did I just make it more confusing??? |

It's awesome that you all have been doing that. Yeah, I figured the "choice" challenge is good because people can pick what they want to focus on. Although, it means there are more participants. And that means more spreadsheet work. I think it's time that BETH learned how to set up the spreadsheets. LOL (Although, she's going to be VERY busy herself!) |
