I'm all for science, but not so much chemistry.  We never really got along.

Nice and normal = boring. You don't want boring. You want a Bike Boy. Who can swim. And run. And -- looks good in a speedo.

Lol - do I? Id be happy with one that doest run and just occassionally tries to swim if thats easier!

See? You DO want a bike boy! I knew it!

True... although if they dont ride then getting on the bike means I get 'ME' time and that wouldnt be such a bad thing

Nope. Not buying it. You want a Bike Boy. You can get your "me" time some other way.

Well I like admiring bike boys... I do have a thing for guys who are good at 'guy stuff' - you know changing lightbulbs and fiixing things etc...

So a bike guy with mechanical skills...

My problem is that I am better at that stuff than most of the guys I meet.  That is part of why Marcus was appealing, but seeing as how he is 14 years older than me...

He was really awesome and would be a great catch for someone.  I wonder if people have a hard time seeing past his rather unique build.  He big and buff-in a slightly frightening sort of way.  His neck must be bigger than my thigh.  I was a little taken aback at first, but that impression didn't last long.

He does have a sexy Cervelo...

Bake him the best cookies ever and give them to him while they are still warm.

If I spent too much time worrying about being taken as weird Dave may never have been more than a casual acquaintance.

Then again, I am a little surprised that I didn't scare him off.  I have an overdeveloped inclination to nurture and try take care of people.  I practically was mothering the guy.

My favourite bikes are De Rosa... although I have developed a soft spot for Colnago's too... most beautiful I have ever seen in real life is a powder blue Tomassini...

That does make it a little more complicated.  What if you left them on his desk with a note that just said thanks for your help-don't bother with a store bought card or stationary, just keep it simple.

Aesthetically? I havent had much exposure to them to be honest... (and all brands have some beautiful bikes and some that are average)

Some arent too bad!

you could get them to the office while they are still warm, but if you are worried that it will look like you are too thoughtful...

Wrap them up and put them in a paper bag with a note.  Swing by work a bit early and then go back out for some coffee or something.

Not a bad idea... I have a 8am meeting on Friday so I could swing by and drop them in on my way I guess...

Although with drinks on Thursday night I dont see a lot of cooking in my future... I like the brown paper bag idea (not much effort)

This could all end up not happening due to a lack of time!!!
