mr2tony - 2010-05-24 8:21 AM Welp. Lessee. Friday I went drinking with pals, Saturday I went for a long run, ALMOST got my sink finished but I need more pipe because the one I have isn't long enough, then I went drinking with people, and then Sunday went to the Hawks game and sat with the owner and his family and crew. Got to meet the NHL commissioner, Vince Vaughn and his smokin' hot wife, a couple former NHL greats and then a bunch of high-falutin businesspeople. All in all a pretty darned good weekend.

The story of your life, right?

you beat me to it!  Great minds and all.

I'll go ahead and take that as a compliment.

Sharyn5 - 2010-05-24 8:29 AM Hi TAN...

I forgot my coffee again today Yell ....made it, had the cup ready to go.....I am starting to worry about myself.

You need some pre-coffee coffee, to get you going in the morning so you don't forget your regular coffee. But then what if you forget the pre-coffee coffee? Oh gosh. We got problems here, Shar.

I saw Shrek with my kids on Friday afternoon. Then I went out with 2 friends to a birthday party and then to Robin Hood. Saturday I took my friend shooting for the first time, she loved it and now wants a .22. I went to a friend’s house on Sat night for drinks. We all drank way too much and had home made carne taco's  YUM! Sunday I just was lazy all day and watched TV and rested up then finished off my weekend watching LOST.

Yes. I can never seem to finish plumbing projects because of a lack of pipage.

My son wants to learn how to shoot...but the whole concept scares me a little.

I have found a lot of the people who do not like firearms is because of fear. I have taken a lot of first timers out and show them proper firearm safety. So far it has been 100% positive and most of them went shooting again later or bought there own firearm.

With the fear aspect it reminds me of any other phobia where people are scared, angry, ignorant of the thing it self and because of that fear some have an irrational hate of it.

Good, thanks. Worked both days, but got a ride in Saturday and went to the park yesterday. Also watched a pretty good movie...Into the Wild. Nice soundtrack.

I'm a movie junkie so I always like when people see movies they like. I liked Into the Wild, very well done. Just not my normal kind of movie.

I saw 2 new movies in the theater this weekend, Shrek and Robin Hood. Both good but not great. I also watched Legion, it was what I expected. A shoot em up with a little biblical slant but in the end just action driven.

I like the movies also. My taste runs the gamut. Action, comedy, drama, stupid humor (which is slightly different than straight up comedy), sci-fi. Don't do German silent film though.

I think you would like it, less talk-more action.  I don't know though, you are quite the talker during the action.

Yeah, I want learn it myself...maybe it's an irrational fear, don't know.

When I say irrational fear I mean the people who HATE firearms but have never been around them or learned to use them. It reminds me of the people that are scared/hate gay people. They have no good reason why they do but they do or they use some week arguments to why they do.

I think you just have no experience with them so it's a bit scary to you. Once you go I bet you will loose the fear. Whether or not you like it is up to you but you will loose the scary factor.
