Oh. Whoops..........

Didn't realize you were witholding it. It's a great pic.

Blame it on hypothermia. It's freezing in here. Plus, I was untangling some horrible HTML code. (It was created by a package, and it was a mess. But I won't rant about that here.)

You could always issue them a challenge about it --> Your legs are better than their legs, right? And if they belive otherwise, they'd better show the proof.

Not that it matters.... we all know that the guys of TWSNBN have BETTER legs than any other guys.

My dog loves to go for walks, but since she is 11, and is a little dog, she runs out of steam long before I have. She's not ready to go back home, but her little legs need a break. Even though she only weighs 15 pounds... carrying her for the remainder of the walk/hike gets a *bit* uncomfortable.

Ah! That makes sense!

wemoon - 2007-11-04 1:29 PM Wow! That recap is awesome! That was really fun to read about the other teams. So, I'm a little crabby. My swim instructor had to cancel today because she wasn't feeling well. Now I have to wait until next Saturday. urgh!! So now I have to decide what I will do today. I think that an IM show is on Versus today, so maybe I'll get on my trainer and watch that. I could get a whole hour of my bike done then. I'd seriously be kicking butt on my bike goal with 2 of the 5 hours done after that. Hmmmm... I think I decided what I'm going to do today!

Gosh you had me all excited there for a minute, but sadly, no ironman on tv today. The NY marathon womens finish was pretty cool though!

Here's the Ironman tv schedule for anyone interested.....

http://www.nasports.com/tvschedule.php

I know... I looked at my schedule after I posted that it *sigh* not IM today. I did already bike a messed up 30 mins. I was interrupted way too many times for it to actually be a good ride. My kids were involved in some sort of spray painting of the apartment complex. From what I'm gathering, they were bystanders, but my neighbors got kinda bitchy at me for believing my kids over the adults that actually did not witness anything. One of the neighbors kid's name was spray painted on the wall, which leads me to believe that my kids are not lieing. They are 6 and 8 for pete's sake... if they were the ones spray painting, I'm sure that they would have put their OWN names on the wall. So, what I'm saying is that the story adds up to me believing my kids and the neighbors think I'm an idiot for believing my kids.

So, all that aside, I'm angry that my kids got themselves into that situation and I'm angry that I'm not allowed to believe my kids without looking like a horrible person and I'm angry that all this happened while I was trying to ride my bike. I'm going to retry this workout while the Amazing race is on.

you earned extra bike miles for the added stress, kids are like hills, they make your workout harder, therefore, it counts for more

beth's feet

LOL - why am I posting a picture of my feet you might ask............

Well, Melissa from team 8 challenged her team (and Dee and me) to talk about a physical characteristic that they like about themselves.

Typically I would say my eyes are my favorite feature about myself - but I was feeling kind of silly today

And, well, since it is a partial leg shot...................LOL

Very nice tosies! They are so cute with the polish and toe rings!

From Beth's log:

"My day really started with a smile today - twisnibbens were up and at it early this morning - chatting away, what an awesome group of people Smile

Headed out to spinning class - should be a good time!

Excellent spinning class - 60 minutes of fun filled sweating! I alsmost got stuck beside the mom and daughter that talk constantly during class - so, I discreetly moved - I highly doubt they have a clue as to why I moved.

Just drives me crazy cuz the chit chat during the entire class - they are NOT working hard enough if they can talk that much - well, if you ask me anyway."

I just love the combination of the first paragraph and the last paragraph.

LOL!!! That is really funny.

The only reality show I'm into is Biggest Loser. I love that show. I just love seeing people making positive changes in their lives. But I also LOVE the show Heroes and I also like Chuck (it's kind of goofy, but it's innocent and fun and I like it). Those are really the only shows we watch. Oh and we also watch Kid Nation, but we have missed a few episodes of that.

Believe the kids.

When I was about 9, two friends asked me to go to a candy shop with them. I said I didn't have any money. They said it didn't matter.... So we went. I looked at the candy, but obviously didn't buy anything....

On the walk back home, they pulled candy out of their pockets, and offered it to me. I asked how they got it, but they just shrugged. (I don't remember what they said, but it didn't leave me feeling suspicious. So I may have thought they'd had money with them.)

The minute I got in the door of my house, my parents had a "chat" with me. It seems a neighbor had seen the 2 others stealing candy and called ALL of our parents. I said something like, "I didn't take anything. I didn't know they'd do that."

My parents believed me. And they never mentioned the incident again. After that, I was still friendly with the other two girls. But far less so. And I never went anywhere with them again....

It's been a long time since I was 9. But I still remember that story....

As I said, believe your kids.
