Let's see. I've kept my new avatar for almost 20 hours now. Is it time to change it?

I like fried beets on salads... somehow, though, I must assume that the frying process decreases their nutritional value... but I could be wrong.

Speaking of beets.... if you feed enough of them to Rock Star, he'll be a pink poodle. (Not fried though.) (And yes, I've heard that the pink color of the beets - if eaten in sufficient quantity, can actually give a pinkish coloration to light colored dogs. I was told that the Pet Food companies used to add lots of beet juice to their dog foods, then people started complaining that their pets were turning pink. LOL)

LOL... that is hilarious. Even I wouldn't want a pink dog!!!

Hm, that's right. You ARE the High Priestess of Pinkdom. LOL

OMg - is she wearing a tiara?

Yep, she is. A shiny little tiara.

Are you sure you're not a true southerner?  Could have sworn earlier I remember you declaring yourself as a transplant.

As I recall anything my mother brought into the house usually either got fried or put in a roux.  I even remember eating fried green beans once.  But no oven frying, deep fat only.

Cool. Not that I'm ever going to eat another one, but I wonder if it happens to people?

Kristen

Well, we could always conduct a study.... Are you a blonde by any chance?

Not blonde...brunette after my hair gets colored. Brunette with serious greyness before. Maybe it would turn the grey/white hair.

But - BEETS WILL NEVER AGAIN TOUCH MY LIPS. I'm still shuddering just thinking about them.

Unfortunately, it should be around every 2 months. Their hair grows as fast as ours.
