stacieb
Come on Stacie - ST rocks just like us Ghoulies!
What don't you like about ST?
You should look into the crossfit way of doing it - you would kill that!
takes up TIME id rather give to cardio.
and i find it to be BORING AS HELL. [the repetition, the pace, the et al]
the crossfit way?
im intrigued.
proceed.........
crossfit.com - you won't be bored and it works as cardio as well because you do not stop moving.
That is the problem (IMHO) with most peoples routine. Lift, rest, lift, rest, lift, rest. Especially us cool endurance athletes. When do we rest while racing? At the end not after a 5 min run.
My program is always continuous so I only spend about 15-20 minutes lifting at the most.
I warm up, loosen up, do my routine with very light weights first to get it set, load the weights up, and go from 1 exercise to the next. Before I start over I do an ab/core workout to slow the h/r down a little.
My H/R is usually 140-150 range when I am really pushing it hard and I sweat like a pig.
You can jump rope, hit the treadmill or track for an interval.
You will dig it!
you had me at 15-20 mins.
thanks. i will MOST DEFINATELY CHK OUT THE WEBSITE.
man, mr graves you sure can hook a girl up.

enjoyable ST routine.
