Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Good afternoon Gobblers! I got ST session #3 done today, as well as a little over 3 miles. It was a nice lunchtime workout which is my second favorite time to workout following early morning. The only problem with early morning workouts is the early part, so lately most of mine have been in the late morning. Oh well |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge ceilidh - 2009-11-10 5:52 AM No, no, no. It is a terrible problem to have. He must move further north. MUCH further north. Then he won't have that problem anymore. Ever. (By the way, you can move back after this challenge is over...) disturbed275 - 2009-11-10 7:44 AM I got another swim in last night and might be heading there again tonight depending on how late I work. I also need to restart jorge's plan. Nice weather derailed me last week. THAT is a nice problem! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge So it sounds like we're all geting our workouts in, for the most part. I did my run today. Not sure how far I went, so I'll have to go map it out. I did a 10 min WU, then 3 mod-paced 10 minute pushes, with 5 min slow jog/speedwalk between, then 5 minutes of cooldown. Then I came home and did my torture, er, time on the foam roller. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge I am supposed to go on a lovely bike ride with a coupl of the local tri gals, but I might have to back out last minute. (Sorry in advance, Heather!). My daughter has a fever today. I am waiting to see what cause will rear its ugly head tonight since she's had it for about 24 hours. I was okay with leaving her alone for an hour or so today for a run, but I am not so okay with leaving her home alone when I'm going to be gone for 4 or 5 hours. |

Very fit looking gentleman in the lane next to me. He got in the water and proceeded to blow up water wings. Yep, the orange ones that kids wear on their arms. He put them on his ankles and added a pull buoy for good measure. I'm seeing all kinds of crazy stuff in the pool these days. Hey! You said you weren't going to tell anyone about my water wings Petty retaliation for you spilling the beans about running past me while I was biking (barely) up the hill. |

It's just that I have some deadlines coming up, so I need to get things done. Actually, if I hadn't spent so much time on BT lately, I'd probably be OK. (I organized the October and November challenges. They take a time to set up and run.) |

See my post above. It's really NOT this job. It's really BT time - with setting up/running the challenges these last couple of months. I didn't get a lot done with work recently, because of BT. So I'm paying for it now. Oh well! I'm sure Comeandgetit hates it. But he's used to seeing me on the computer all night. LOL Edited by D001 2009-11-10 10:07 PM |
