wgraves7582 - 2009-12-09 7:22 AM BTW - The ice box was not cold last night.  I came home, got a haircut from her and kept all body parts, went for a bike ride (2 hours), came home and we ate a snack together and I told her I was sorry for snapping at her in front of her friends.

Sorry Ann I did not take full advice - the bike ride wiped me out so I crashed Innocent

I'm just shaking my head Bill. Where are your priorities?

skrtrnr - 2009-12-09 5:38 AM GHOULIE QUESTION.

serious one.

and i dont want you to blow smoke up my wazoooo, and im not 'fishing' for compliments...i really really want/need to know.

you all know me in a limited way/context, but....

would you pay me a reasonable fee (this is hypothetically speaking) to be your LIFE/WELLNESS COACH?  [let me add, since i read BILLs first response....this is in a general life/wellness sense, not fitness-related, though it could be....]

in other words, do you think that i have what it takes to support/encourage/facilitate people as they go about setting goals and making changes in their lives?

seriously.

i wanna/need to know, if you see that 'in' me or not.
stacieb

You would be flat out GREAT at it.  In fact you ARE,  you just don't get paid for it yet.

x2
There is a real need for that for a lot of people. and you would be ggrrrreeeeeaaatttt.
Lots of folks want to make changes but don't have the self assurance they need nor do they have the skills or encouragement needed. Life coaches, health coaches, help many to become what a lot of folks take for granted- self assured (not = egomaniac, just no self hatred) healthy people!

You guys are too funny.

Alright put the facts down.

Nights a week
Nights a week you put the first move on
Nights a week you wish the other would put the move on
Nights a week you want to rest
Should total 7 hotshots!

Why are we limited to 7? what about mornings, or weekend afternoons when the kids are at someone's house playing? And REST? Honey I'll rest when I'm dead.

Put em down HotShot

Now I know why the Queen calls you Dorkface

This is an average, sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less.

Nights a week 4-5

Mornings a week 2-3

Times you put the move on first 2-4

Times you wish the other would put the move on first 3-5

As I said before... slacker.

A quick drive by "Hi!"  Looks like you guys are having a fun chat today.  Wish I could join in but gotta run to meet with lawyers all afternoon.  Would much rather be giving Bill grief on slacking off on his "duties."  Keep it going.  Will catch up tonight.

NJ Kim that does not sound like fun at all!!!!!

They are dual "duties" though - remember 1 should not have to initiate each and every time!

No you shouldn't BUT if she initiates and you are TOO TIRED soon she will stop initiating, know what I mean? No one likes rejection.

I'm tired today...even with my 9.5hr sleep last night...

Swimming last night went better than it has in the recent past. We did alot of technique! Need to get my freestyle back to racing level...my backstroke is doing alright I think....but I need my freestyle back (Its alright technically...but needs to be better!). Need to qualify for provincials...Need to get to A times at sometime in the near future...I'm pretty sure I can handle B times...I need to go 2:30 for 200 free...woooo...need to get speedy again!

Going to figure out my competition plan for the new year soon!....I have Jan-March pretty much figured...its the April-Sept I need to work on!

Hi ghoulies!  I'm still stuck at home.  Apparently we've gotten anywhere from 12-17 inches of snow depending on who you ask.  My landlord has done nothing to clear out the parking lot and there's still a huge drift in front of my garage.  That and the drift in front of the front door has gotten much deeper.  Any thoughts of getting to work or the gym are definitely off the table.  I might have to invest in a shovel if this is the sort of snow removal service my landlord is going to provide.

I did manage an ST session so I didn't feel like a complete slug today.  But now it's time to head back to the couch and throw in another movie

You are a swimming rock star!!!

How goes the frigid running?

I wouldn't say "rock star" haha...I'm not back to that level yet! Frigid running not too bad. Went on Monday in -22C...8km...I actually don't find it too bad. Its sort of exhillarating to be out there! (Everyone tells me im nuts :P) I'll go again on Fri I think! 3 runs per week...I need to check the forecast for friday now that I think about it..
