Yes?

I'm still trying to convince the husband, but do you have any of the 4 people cabins available July 15,16 and maybe 17?

Crappola. No. We did when I looked just now, then I rechecked and it was booked for all but one day- the 17th.

NOw it is open for the 17th and the 18th. Someone just changed their mind again!

Maybe I will have to wait until fall. Usually whatever long weekend we have in November we will take the kids and go down skyline drive. Maybe I can talk him into extending the trip a bit this year.

I'm pretty lazy on FB too. I check it fairly regularly, but I almost never post anything. It's a good tool for keeping in touch though. Much easier than having to keep track of an address book.

Well. You could post some pics of yourself or something. Preferably topless ones, maybe after a workout. I'm just sayin'.

kcarroll - 2010-06-09 6:24 AM Guess what?? Today is my *Friday.*  I am taking tomorrow off to run errands and generally catch up on non-work life.  Then Friday morning I'm leaving early for Vermont.  My oldest nephew is graduating from high school and the ceremony is Friday evening.  He is valedictorian of his class.  I used to think he got his brains from my sister (definitely NOT the BiL).  But I am now wondering if he was actually adopted.  Kid is scary smart, but most importantly, really nice.   Then my niece has her 8th grade graduation ceremony at church on Sunday morning.  She is a handful.  Almost feel sorry for her parents.  Almost.

Anyhow, busy weekend ahead.  I may take my bike with me just in case I can carve out some time to ride.  The hills up there are wicked.

Have a great time up there! When I was in Rhode Island for a school a couple years back I climbed Mt. Mansfield in Vermont and had a great time.

Reading literature and typing to be proactive...

Hopefully it isnt all for nothing and me wasting my time..haha...I guess I don't really have anything else to do?

Did swim/run this morning...will do after the lab...stayed up reading...The villian in this book is probably my most hated EVER...anyways, I opted for some more sleep and chill time this morning. Only a recovery swim and short run planned.

The thought has crossed my mind. There's a perfect venue right down the road from me that nobody is using so far. I just wish I had the time to do something like that right now. Someday though!

If you offered the right prize I'm sure you could get the Ghoulies to give it a trial run for you. We could do it in January before Carlsbad, or maybe after, yeah, after would probably be better.

Haha. Well its not a bodice buster...Its more a sci fi/fantasy type. Its a trilogy. First book is called Myrren's Gift. I'm on the second right now. Its about an army general who is seeking revenge on a king he grew up with. This king is not a good person...bad bad bad bad bad...So evil. I thought it looked a little kiddish when I first saw it on the library shelf...but I thought what the heck. Then I got to like the 3rd chapter...def not a kids book...torture, etc. Its a good story though. But it sci fi/fantasy isn't your thing then you won't like it prob. haha.

I'm in a fantasy/sci fi mode right now. haha...I fluctuate. If you have ever read Terry Goodkind....I hate this king more than I hated Darken Rahl...thats how much I HATE him. haha. (I might get really into books sometimes)...

I have had my fair share of bodice busters too though. haha.

Really really good series though that I would suggest to you though Tom is by Stieg Larsson. Its a trilogy. The first one is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who Played with Fire and The Girl who kicked the Hornets Nest. FANTASTIC SERIES!!! I highly recommend it.

I'm just trying to get through the Percy Jackson books before my son reads them. He's finishing the 5th Harry Potter book. The last 2 are pretty long, so I have time.
