1-1 now.  Sick twisting goal by Forlan.  Goldilocks does it again.

Yeah, the commentators really got on the keeper, but I thought it was a very good strike.

Look at how it moves in the last 8-10 yards.  That thing looked like the baseball in the movie "Flubber".  MLB hurlers wished they had that kind of late movement on their fastball.

Have the tides turned.  From the game cast chat, it appears that Uruguay are putting on a bit more pressure.

Sneijder scores! They're debating offsides because the ball passes through Van Persie's legs, but he never touches it.

Well, they score again while i'm typing. 3-1 NED.

Saw on the gamecast chat that there was a "scuffle on the field" after full time?

More a huddle and words than anything.

Robben's goal was flippin' pretty.

It was very minor. Maybe a little pushing, that's all I saw. No punches thrown that I could see.

Also looking forward to the "Lego World Cup" replay.
Wonder if he would include the "scuffle on the field" part.  Heheh.

It has begun.  I'm pulling for Spain.  Then I will have a hellish time picking for the final cause I want both teams to win.

Is Germany just letting the Spain wear themselves down so they can run rufshod over them the second half.  Spain seems to have a HUGE possession % going.

Good grief. This game is so dull (on the Germans' side) I'm here BTing. The Spaniards DESERVE to win, unless they completely fall asleep like the Germans have.

Spain appears to be dominating possession but can't finish and 8 shots, 2 on goal.  Germany with only one shot and it was on goal.

Accidental contact...but usually gets called...so much at stake neither team wants to lose and not willing to gamble to win...maybe second half they will open up. Spain has a real problem up front..playing Villa on his own is not making enough chances for them...Germany giving all the possession to Spain so not getting many counter attacks

Your thoughts on either team making it through to Sunday.  Do you think they will do the same then?  Will Netherlands play like they did yesterday or will they to go conservative?
