MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Run your azz off Ghoulies pt. 2!!! ceilidh - 2010-07-24 11:09 AM Morning all. I got up early and ran this morning. I forgot I signed up for the annual Bele Cher 5K in Asheville. It was hot hot hot already 85 degrees at 8:00 in the morning. I had to walk some. It is supposed to be 100+ here today. Good thing I got the shopping in on the way home. Nothing like being sweaty to go to the store. Of course I saw 6 people I know. You know, the ones that do not sweat and are always color coordinated. Of course they all wanted to talk. Poor them. Now for making tater salad, squash casserole, shucking corn, and then having friends over for a Birthday party. I was gonna go down to the lake but iI think that will be what I do tomorrow. Act like a water buffalo in the lake. Have fun all! I so envy you being on the lake. I'd be in the water all the time. |

Was aiming for 3 gallons, but the heat did me in. After napping, I then made 9 cups of blueberry preserves. Yummy. I'll trade you some dill pickles and bread n butter pickles for a small jar of bb preserves!!! I don't like pickles, but I'll be happy to share some bb preserves. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Run your azz off Ghoulies pt. 2!!! Good afternoon Ghoulies! It has been a busy day, much to my dismay. Last evening we went to an ice cream shop. One of those ma & pa places where you order at a window and sit outside and eat. My husband and daughter got ice cream, they had dinner before we went. My son and I did not have dinner, so we both got bacon cheeseburgers. I was up sick a little after 11:00pm, my son was up sick just after midnight. It was a long night. I did not run today. My daughter was scheduled to read to a therapy dogs at the library at 10:00, I took her even though I wanted to stay home. Other kids were scheduled but didn't show. She read to the first dog for almost half an hour. They asked her if she wanted to read to the other dog and she said yes. She was with him for about 15 minutes. We did make a stop then to get school shoes on the way home. It took us no time to find 3 pair of shoes for her, she'd have gotten more if I'd have let her. I can barely get my son to pick out one pair, and I usually end up picking a second pair for him. I've done almost nothing in the A/C the rest of the day. I wanted to bike, but with the 101 temp and not feeling well I decided it would be best to not attempt it. Have a good evening everyone. |

So let me pose a question - I go to Target w/o DW and I call her and ask her if she went. She says no but she left a list at home for me but no note that I was supposed to get the stuff - I thought it was her list to remind herself what she needed. So I am gone and she says she needs the stuff on the list. I get made because she could have left a note saying I need this and she says that I should not be yelling at her. My reply is that if I don't get the stuff you are going to be yelling at me and she yes but that is acceptable. Can you help me with this please. I get in trouble for yelling but if I don't do it and I get yelled at it is alright????????? Send me away calgon!!! IMHO no one should be yelling. It was a simple honest mistake on perhaps everyone's part. She knew there was a list, she could have said something to you. You maybe could have called before you left to ask if she needed anything. Brush it off. There are more important things in life. That's just my opinion. |

It was my Boyfriends Bday and I baked him a yummy cake and improvised an icing. It was all gluten and dairy free...some of the guests were skeptical, but they all tried it and enjoyed it (it was eaten more than the other cake). What is new with me??? Well... I made the icing with chilled coconut milk(just the solids), powdered sugar, vanilla, and melted semisweet chocolate. Whipped it up and spread it like a normal icing. I'm a picky eater and this doesn't sound bad. Can I ask why the gluten and dairy free? |

Time to get some sleep. Hope you guys and gals of Ghoulieville had a great day and enjoy manana! Sorry Melindy - but he looked good the whole 3 weeks - better to be AS than LA right now Now he knows to focus on TT and he and AC will have some fun battles for years to come! Fabian is a stud - just saying! Its okay. I knew it was going to be a rough day. He left himself out on that mountain and on the road today. I am proud of Andy. He still gave Alberto the ride of his life today, I imagine AC and his team had a bit of a heart attack after the first time check...so Andy surprised them and proved in everyone's minds that he is a force to reckon with when he is older and wiser...aka. 26. Next year! ANDY ANDY ANDY ANDY!! Alberto did convincingly win today, but overall I am not so sure. Given the mechanical, there will be questions up in the air until next year...when the showdown will start all over again. Next year it is Andy's turn. Fabian is a stud. I agree. In both a fabulous cyclist stud kind of way and an extremely good looking man kind of way With massive, hot azz quads...oh man (is it hot in here, or just me??) |

Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: Run your azz off Ghoulies pt. 2!!! Well I was up island today. Interesting to say the least. It culminated in a discussion on religion...let's just say "RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG" and I sat in silence on the couch texting my friend about how I was sitting in awkward silence on the couch staying out of the argument. Also on today's discussion list: 1) American politics 2) The big bang theory...not the television show--culminated in the above RED FLAG RED FLAG 3) What to name the new baby in the family who was born yesterday...(wow people can get defensive) 4) Meeting SO's via the internet 5) The mason's--also culminated in the above RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG 6) Cancer aka. "the big "C"" 7) The hurricane watch in the gulf So there all kind of were heated debates...I definately sat in awkward silence through the majority of it looking like I was doing something extremely exciting on my phone or had random side convos with people not involved in the above discussions. Thank you diplomatic random family members for making my Sat afternoon full of awesome times. Haha. |

If you don't watch Scrubs...I am a type A, slightly competitive, slightly neurotic medical student who swam competitively and now does triathlon. Full disclosure. Happy Neal? Better. The ghoulie mentees said they have a hard time keeping up so you might as well get it all out in one post. Of course if they've been reading anything at all lately from the thread they could probably glean the craziness from that. Ouch Neal...is this what you think of me? Need to hide the crazy... Haha PS: I take back my Awwww Neal from above. Hee hee - thanks for the summary. If you're Eliot, who's "the Todd" around here? |

My 7 year old daughter has had speech problems since birth. She has problems reading because she can't sound out words. She does great in math and science. She gets frustrated sometimes with reading. She tries very hard though. The local libraries around here have reading therapy dogs that come in over the summer that the kids can read to. From everything I've read the dogs are good for the kids because they are non-judgemental. They aren't going to criticize the kids or make them feel bad. So I take her to read with the dogs as much as possible. My best friend is training her German Shepherd to be a reading dog. My kids are around her dog a lot and when my friend ask my daughter if they could practice together my daughter was very excited! |

Here, we recently lost a lot of customers to a newer branch opening that pulled a lot of my customers away. It is kind of a bummer to be here right now, but just think how I can get the branch to grow again. |
