Hehe...I actually kind of picked out the jacket. He gave me two choices and I picked the Gerolsteiner because it matches his eyes.

I often think of him while training or racing - that keeps me going And no, not thinking anything naughty (okay, maybe SOMETIMES), just that he would be proud to see me racing

I see the future ... it's hazy ... there's a blue cloud ... wait, wait ... a map ... of Europe ... I see ... a girl ... dancing ...

I see Europe in Chrissy's future!!!

Plus, he probably doesn't have a shot in heck with these girls whereas it's entirely feasible that my ex and I could get back together (Seeing as how we know each other and all!). Go to page 21 for pics...he's a smokin' hottie. I keep trying to convince him to get into triathlons - he already runs and bikes.

Actually, I owe spokes several debts of gratitude. (No, spokes ... no ideas on repayment, thank you). For one thing, he provided a nice pic for the guys so I don't have to go about procuring one. For the girls, I will still post the freshie of the guy ... mmm!

And in his defense, spokes is a pretty smooth guy. Y'oughtta see the some of the ladies he manages to score.

Clearly, all of you need to get off BT and CoJ and come run (swim/bike) with me, since it's become obvious this week that I hang with the yummiest men and hottest women, maybe because I think of myself as one of them ... yes, I have one of those towels, and yes, I have great legs and shoulders ... it's all a matter of attitude, after all.

But seriously, gang, I'd like to see y'all do some cheering for yourselves in the next few days ...

I have seen Gail in a towel and attest to the great legs and shoulders ... and attitude!!! 

But Gail, I DO go swimming with you! Unfortunately, I only attend swim workouts which involve public nudity (KIDDING!!! About only attending those, I mean ... I attend plenty) ... but the speed circuit is over.

Okay, so his 30th bday was in June, about a week and a half before he left the DC area to go home before moving to Geneva a week later. I found out from a mutual friend that he was leaving, and then I ran into him on the bike path. We had a nice dinner (and a snuggle) at  my apartment before he left. I had wanted to get him a cycling jersey as a going-away present, but couldn't find anything I liked that I knew he'd like (in his size anyway) before he left. I also still owed him part of his 29th birthday gift, which was from when we were dating. So I said I would order him something and have it shipped.  I told him if he wanted to pick something out, he could and I would order it for him. So he picked a very nice cycling jacket with the Gerolsteiner logo on it from a European website. So I ordered it, doing the best I could with the weird European postal codes and the order form that didn't seem to have the right spaces. I had it shipped to him, since it was cheaper than having it shipped here and then shipping it back to Europe. After a week, he hadn't gotten it, so I emailed the company - they hadn't shipped it until a week after I ordered it. After another week, it still hadn't arrived - I then got an email saying that "you sent back the package- why?". Umm...I never sent it back and neither did my ex! So clearly, it didn't get there. They said the postal code was not right, so I explained that there did not seem to be the correct format of boxes to write it the way I was told. So I gave them the correct address. So he finally got it today. I will attempt to attach the pic of him in the jacket that he took.

Here is a link to his blog -  he is the tall white guy in all the pictures of the most recent entry. He's living in Geneva, working for the World Intellectual Property Organization for a year - after this, who knows...he is an avid cyclist and runner and is having a blast riding all over the Alps - done a few races too! He's a really cool guy.
