OK, triathletes. Time for me to do a little closet cleaning. I have the following up for grabs. If you're interested PM me the specific item(s) you want and your address. First come, first served. Shipping's on me. Just remember to Pay It Forward.

Clothing:

  • 2006 Turtleman Triathlon Race shirt. Nice looking technical fabric t-shirt. White with a big, colorful logo on the front. A couple of sponsor logos on the back. SIZE M
  • 2007 Turtleman Triathlon Race shirt. Same as above only gray.
  • 2007 Lake Waconia Triathlon Race shirt. Same as above. White. Not a sweet logo, just another average race tee.
  • 2006 Colon Cancer Coalition Run shirt. Long sleeved technical shirt. Black with a small logo on the front and sponsor logos on the back. I'll call it SIZE S since it seems small to me.

Other stuff:

  • Saddle off my '05 QR Kilo. It was a major a$$ hatchet/taint buster for me but it might work for you.

That's about all for now. I'll post updates with what's left as I'm able.

Cheers!

Tom

GONE! ALL GONE! Several of you have PMs. Thanks for helping me unload this stuff that never gets used. Put it to good use.

I have a Pro-fit XL sized green sprinter's jersey from the Tour of Utah.  You can see a pic of it here ... it's the green "Sinclair" jersey.  I'm a "club fit" XL, and this is a "pro-fit" -- meaning it's too small for me.  I've worn it once, and it's been completely laundered and is in new condition.  If you normally wear a M-L jersey, this will probably fit you well.  First one to PM takes it.

I have a Forerunner 201 with charger that is for someone who needs it and will pass it on when they are done.

Also a Timex Marathon watch.

I don't use either now that I've upgraded my equipment.

PM with which you want and where to send. Will send out later this week (travelling now).

If anybody has anything that would benefit me....PLEASE let me know. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...also if anybody could point me in the direction of how to get a cheap good road bike, that would be awesome. I live in GA if that helps? Thanks in advance.

Welcome!  Hope you find lots of helpful information on this website!!!  It is truely a wealth of information.

Just so you know, this is generally viewed as a post where stuff is not asked for, but given.  It is not a strictly enforced rule, just a "code" that most of the individuals on this website abide by.  This is something I generally end up bringing up, so I mean no offense, just thought you should know, and it's always good to restate for everyone to read.

If you're looking for a cheap bike, head to www.bikesdirect.com.

If you're looking for cheap gear, head to www.ebay.com.

Adam,

I will also recommend bikesdirect.com. They have very nice, new, entry level bikes for a great price. In addition, I would also highly recommend looking on Craigslist.org for your area. Lots of great used bikes for sale there. Make sure you know what size bike you need before you buy one. If you can afford it, I'd recommend going to a bike shop and paying to get fitted first, then go shopping for the right size.
Welcome to BT.

Sorry!  Nothing to be sorry for!  You didn't know!  I just didn't want others to do the same, and it spiral out of control.

I really hope, in hindsight, that I didn't make this site sound intimidating, or unwelcoming.  I hope you use all the *power* of this site to your benefit!
