The website sucks, although we've made some vast improvements to it and are updating all the parts slowly. I love working there! Casual, dog-friendly, free food, fun people, free or at-cost cycling gear ... oh and there are upsides, too Well, that's just pretty downright awesome! So how do you find out about the stuff that is not on the website? I'm always checking for continuing ed workshops. Living in the sticks makes it difficult. You ask me, or you actually call the headquarters. Yeah ... Humboldt pretty much means you gotta make the haul to SF. I just love driving to SF! (Comment dripping with sarcasm.) |

Yes I am, but checked out of BT to spend time with the fam last night. Got my wife peach-colored roses and we watched Grey's Anatomy together. And no cheesecake. My dear wife is sick and is trying to stay away from sweets. Really. Plan to swim this morning. 2500 yds. My shoulder is sore though. |

After that, decorating our gingerbread house and making a few cookies (which I won't eat!)... Happy FRIDAY everyone! |

Bummer.
Well, if you ladies think of anything - I think it's something I'd like to do - pretty sure I could do it well - think? I'm sure you would! The Spinning cert is absolutely the way to go BUT... in the meantime, until training is offered close to you, you could get a different kind of certification. Some gyms will let you start teaching without a national certification as long as you A) are CPR certified, B) are Good and C) take an interim training (often specific to the types of bikes they use... and often offered through the gym as part of their continuing ed. program for instructors). |

I'm sure the extra sleep was well worth it and now you can use the gym as a "break" I was up early but not to spin... to shop. I had exactly 30 minutes from the time the store opened to get what I needed and get home so hubby could leave for work. I made it (OK, I was 2 minutes late). |

Add me to the list of those who were supposed to get up early but didn't. All that baking really wore me out. That's pretty pathetic. I will try to make it to the pool this afternoon sometime. I've eaten so many cookies, going out to lunch with hubby and going out to dinner with friends. I NEED to swim. (Or do some kind of exercise) |

Monkeys got presents for sugar daddy, Mommy got goggles for Monkeys, and best of all, a new pair of goggles for ME just happened to jump in my cart so I had to buy them. Don't you hate when that happens? Training - done! Tested out my new goggles - very nice & they don't give me a headache yet, so that's an improvement. They do still poke into my face a bit, but other than lmaking me look yucky after I swim (which I was going to anyway), they are pretty nice. Now, gotta get cleaned up, wrap the gifts and get onto the X-mas sweet making. |

I think I'll ask my sister to place the bows Christmas Eve while hubby and I are at midnight mass. This way I can shove them all back in the storage container and under the bed in the guest room without smashing bows. We still don't put anything under the tree from Santa until Christmas Eve. I love the expressions in the morning after Santa's passed. |
