I better go nighty night, too. I got 3 hrs shuteye last night and I'm headed into Mad Dogg (we call it the Dogg Pound ) at 0800 hrs.

Sorry.  Yes I am, but checked out of BT to spend time with the fam last night.  Got my wife peach-colored roses and we watched Grey's Anatomy together.  And no cheesecake.  My dear wife is sick and is trying to stay away from sweets.   Really.

Plan to swim this morning.  2500 yds.  My shoulder is sore though.  Probably from hauling around a suitcase yesterday .  Don't know from what.  Wish me luck.

Morning Kristen!  Fun, fun, fun.  Ooh.  That reminds me.  I better finish up my Christmas shopping.

I ate 5 snickerdoodles when I got home last night.  I better go swim now.

I'm sure you would!  The Spinning cert is absolutely the way to go BUT... in the meantime, until training is offered close to you, you could get a different kind of certification.  Some gyms will let you start teaching without a national certification as long as you A) are CPR certified, B) are Good and C) take an interim training (often specific to the types of bikes they use... and often offered through the gym as part of their continuing ed. program for instructors).

Sounds like a great day, Kristen.  No worries on that spin class... I'm sure the extra sleep was well worth it and now you can use the gym as a "break" . 

I was up early but not to spin... to shop.  I had exactly 30 minutes from the time the store opened to get what I needed and get home so hubby could leave for work.  I made it (OK, I was 2 minutes late).

coworker B gave me a bracelet for christmas - a very pretty one -

coworker A gave me very expensive truffles

coworker C - is thinking the same thing I am (or at least I think she is)

Do I go out over lunch and pick up some gifts?  I have never in the past given my coworkers presents argh

OOOOOO!!!!  I love things that jump into my cart!!!!

SOunds like everyone is working as hard as Santa's elves (though I doubt they're making time to swim til after Christmas)

Scissors, check... Tape, check... Wire cutters, check... paper, check... bows, do kids really care about bows...

that's what I did -

I bought them each a cute little berry basket - a drainer that is just the right size for berries and a veggie peeler that's really cool

they all like to cook and love fresh fruit, so I think they will like it - just $45 I could have spent better somewhere else

oh well  it's the season of giving, right

my daughter does - she's seventeen and since she was old enough to think of it, she adorns herself with every possible bow and ribbon during the unwrapping festivities

silly girl!

I think I'll ask my sister to place the bows Christmas Eve while hubby and I are at midnight mass.  This way I can shove them all back in the storage container and under the bed in the guest room without smashing bows.  We still don't put anything under the tree from Santa until Christmas Eve.  I love the expressions in the morning after Santa's passed.

sounds like a good plan!  sometimes I miss the whole santa thing, on the other hand, it's kind of a relief after having played santa for 17 years to not have to worry about it

We really did watch TV last night...Grey's Anatomy...she's sick so is staying away from sweets...really...
