Ken D's Group - Shut (Page 27)

Leg is doing better today.  Have been having to wrap it for bed so I don't bleed on the sheets, but took today off work and let it "air out" and it seems to be doing well.  It is not painful or anything but more annoying just due to the location on the back of the knee.  Every little movement seems to cause it to open back up and bleed again, but I have been very careful today and seem to have it under control.  I am hoping I can go to work tomorrow without having to wrap it up.  The bruising has also gone down some so it is not looking so bad.

Not really sure when I will start working out again.  Probably won't get in the pool at all this week, and want to make sure it has closed up properly before I bike/run, so it could be a few more days before the workouts pick up again.  Very frustrating since I had been doing so well.  My eating has gone to sh*t too. 

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring weather where ever you are at! 

I am pissed off for you!  I think every time I heard or saw a dog on my run tonight I cursed for you!!  I am even more paranoid now when I run because I usually have Logan in the BOB.  Hope you are good to go for work and back on track soon after!

Doing better today as bruising is dissipating.  Put a light wrapping on it and came to work.  We'll see what it looks like when I get home.  Plan to go for a walk today just to get outside and get moving a bit.

I noticed they are starting new summer mentor groups.  Ken, were you still wanting to keep us together and lead us through the summer season?  I really like this group and feel like we make a good team.  I know there are two people from our original group that did not stay, so if we keep this together what do you think of opening it up to a few more people?  Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

you'll never be rid of me...support doesn't end with the end of a group, but ya I'd definately be interested in keeping it going and opening it up for some fresh blood:-)

We can keep posting here for as long as y'all would like.  I don't plan on picking up another group for the summer. 

The "official" mentor group may be over but the contacts made here will continue.  I'll still be checking up on all of y'all.

So is it possible to get a few more people in here?  Not really sure how that works

Alright...fine   It's bedtime tonight but I'll look into it tomorrow and figure out how to start a group.  Never done one before.

Alright, it is set up and I am now in the mentor staging area.  It looks like they keep me in there until other groups fill up then I am called in from the bullpen.  It looks like you can go in now and sign up for the group even in the staging area.  Here is the link to it for now, so if you want to join before it fills up then go put you name in now.  I'll have to get Sandra to make another one of those cool charts with everyones name on it.  Thanks everyone and I hope this goes well!  If not, I blame Meggan!

hmmm, when i click on the link it takes me to a page that looks similar to this one.  there is a reply button at both the bottom and top and also on each individual message.  does that help at all?

Since my run went well yesterday, planning a bike ride after work today.  Weather should be perfect.  If all goes well, I'll do a swim tomorrow!
