I'm ignoring them.  I actually haven't gained anything....yet!  If I keep drinking like I have been, it'll catch up quick!  Good thing I'm scaling back this week!

I was doing really good there for awhile then kind of let things go on weekends and would play catch up during the week.  Well after this weekend, I just felt like CARP all sunday and said enough is enough.  So now to get serious and get rid of those last pesky lbs.

Other than keeping my calories out greater than calories in is there something that I can do with my diet?  Have any of you had good luck with something?  I've kind of hit that platue thing, which I think is why I was letting myself go on the weekends.

I think I've heard that it helps to up your protein intake/percentage?  Does that sound right?

I definately let it go on the weekends.  I eat whatever...we tend to eat out alot!  I catch up by Thur., then the viscious (sp?) cycle starts over again.

I do the same thing.  It works well for me...so far.

I made my phone call.  Well, phone calls.  My head is spinning!  And, I was late picking up Liam cause I was still chatting.  Way too much to process!  It seems like everyone (school, doctor, advocacy group) tells me something different.  It is getting darn near impossible to keep it straight!

At least I know what my next step is.... to gather all the information (like reports from audiology, teacher, OT, etc) and call the advocacy people back!  They are great.

Just went to the dentist for the first time in 10 years.  I've been a little on the petrified side since I got my wisdom teeth out.  But guess what?!?!?  No cavities.  They were impressed  It was a huge accomplishment for me!

I'm glad I didn't have any.  I just about passed out when I walked in the door for the cleaning.  I'm sure I would have had a full on stroke if I was going in to get a cavity filled!

Thankfully I have never really had a bad experience at the dentist so I don't mind going.  Although the last time I had to have something repaired the shot they gave me in my tongue to numb everything up didn't wear off for about a week.  That was a little scary.

Skippy - roasted honey nut

The bigger question though: crunchy or creamy?

My vote's for creamy

I've lost about 20 lb this year. Hope to do the same next year

Same here.  The weekends are notorious for derailing any weight loss goals.

Well it was supposed to be Max's trainer challenge but I seemed to have gained weight the first week.

It's probably time to lay off the holiday spirits

X2!  I think I went 5 years at one point.  That resulted in some painful issues.  I'm a faithful twice year visitor now

Leftovers!  The downside of cooking for one I'm stuck eating the same thing for a week.

trying to catch up here,
skippy creamy,
hadn't been to the dentist in 15 years, went once for a cleaning, (no cavities) and haven't been back in 2 years again, LOL
weight loss? lost 3 pounds just now and although this doesn't seem like the best season to lose weight, i'd really like to go down another 6 or 7. that would just about put me at my ideal. BUT i gotta throw in there for any of you who don't know me, when i started all this tri stuff, i was about 55 pounds heavier than i am today, and i've gone from a size 14 to a size 6 (sometimes a 4)
the change has been pretty significant for me, but what really makes me proud, is that i've spread it around like a disease. LOL my best friend weighed 220-i got her to start running, she's down to like 160 now, another friend of mine started running, and just did her first 5K (in only 35 minutes-not bad for a first time!) i've gotten 5 or 6 others started too, all because they've seen such a huge change in me. that makes me really proud.

i just put up my Christmas tree today, and my youngest (he'll be 2 in 2 weeks) is taking a nap (oh thank goodness) so i'm baking bread.

i think that about catches me up, yeah?
