Champion 7931 Sequim, Washington | Subject: RE: Nibbs XLI Artemis - 2009-09-10 1:58 PM Hi Nibbs!! Everyone is quiet today. Go with the gummy vitamins!!! they are great. I already take enough pills that I would never get around to taking vitamins. Now I just eat some gummies and I'm set.Had my follow-up appointment with the endocrinologist. One of the biggest things that came up is that I am iron deficient. Supposed to start a multivitamin with iron, but I have no idea which one to take. Vitamins are way too confusing!! Also getting some more tests to see if my adrenals are working ok and if I'm having celiac problems. Fun stuff! Oh wait, not so much... Edited by mchally 2009-09-10 4:43 PM |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XLI mchally - 2009-09-10 5:41 PM oh the joys of celiac...I am fairly certain that I have celiac disease, but to get an accurate test result I would need to be back on gluten for an extended period of time...not gonna happen. I was talking to the doctor about it today. He said that the blood tests aren't always conclusive, so if you feel better not eating it, don't bother. |

The other option is a colonoscopy, but they are looking for irritation caused by the gluten...not going to find it when I am on a gluten free diet. And prep for a colonoscopy is always a joy too...my gut can't handle the stuff they gave me and I puked so violently that I burst bloodvessels all through my neck, chin, cheeks and in my eyes. what fun! |

My mom has a pretty bad reaction to the standard colonoscopy prep. There is another prep they can give you, but they don't like to unless there is a good reason. I had one done last year and they didn't see anything wrong at the time. But, I feel better when I'm not eating lots of gluten. Less stomach cramps and other problems. |

There are chewables, but no gummies. |

Champion 7931 Sequim, Washington | Subject: RE: Nibbs XLI SO since I changed meds I have been gaining weight. my tummy pudge has reappeared and now the wetsuit doesn't fit. I need to go to the rental place a third time in the morning because of miscommunication and me being in a hurry. I will be picking up the 4th wetsuit...I ordered one from xterra, but it is too snug for me. I was getting claustrophobic and disoriented. there was the sleeved blueseventy synergie, but it was to snug too. I picked up a sleeveless reaction today that I thought was a M, but it turns out that it is a MS too. I am very very frustrated with myself. |

He has banned me from working too late and from going to our annual showcase tonight... that bits kind of sad as I really wanted to go! That's no fun! Why the ban from the showcase? Not a serious ban... a youre not healthy enough... if I really wanted to go there would be no problem... name was on the list... But in hindsight I did the right thing... I feel TERRIBLE this morning and I just stayed home on the couch... It sucks hearing all about how awesome last night was and that everyone had such a great time but.... its for the best |
