Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge My hubby woke up early to go work out and I heard him (and the dog) so I went on ahead and got up too... I should use this time to get everything together for today's adventure and not have to yell at 6yo for being late (when usu it's my fault) |

Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Let's see... given I had no race season this year (dang knee)... I'm not quite sure what I'm going to need for a SB brick without coming home.... I do know that I will need a PBJ being as that we will be riding thru the lunch hour... |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Good morning, Gab-Gobs! Heather... I'm with you on the early wake-up. I finally got my butt out of bed for a morning workout! Got a great run in... 4.8 miles in 45 min. My best run this offseason. I'm eyeing up a 12-12:45 spin class at the Y today. Hopefully work will cooperate. I know everyone's been sharing some playlists recently. So I'd like to post another informal survey question... Name your 3-5 favorite songs to work out to. Have a great day, Gobblers! |

Hopefully I can get some time to go to the gym and run on the treadmill. Not ready to run outside in this weather... Hope you all have a great day! |

Here are a few of my favorites. They always pick me up if they come up on my iPod in the middle of a workout. 1. "Jump Around" - House of Pain (what can I say, I was a UW Badger!) 2. "Wish" - Nine Inch Nails 3. "Perfect Drug" - Nine Inch Nails 4. "Firestarter" - Prodigy |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Are people at work or off today for Veteran's Day? I'm a grad student, so I'm at work. My husband works for a credit card company and he is off. He is coming downtown to have lunch with me (very rare), so that will make it better. |

How We Operate - Gomez 2. Flagpole Sitta - Harvey Danger 3. Cowboy - Kid Rock 4. Low Rider - Korn 5. Jail Break - ACDC |

Not too much scheduled, but I suppose I need to clean up around here a bit. Other than that I've got a 30 min tempo run on the schedule which I'm looking forward to in a few hours. Hope everyone is having a good day! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge We never have a day off around here . My daughter still isn't feeling quite up to going to school, so I had to skip my bike ride today. Hopefully the weather isn't too too bad after the storm passes tomorrow so I can get outside one more time. |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge I got my tempo run for the week done today. The humidity was a little worse than I was expecting so I overheated a little bit, but it was definitely a good workout. Easy 3 miler and ST session tomorrow will put me at/over 50% on the month for both! Edited by iowagander 2009-11-11 4:59 PM |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge I "bailed" on the office around 3pm. Got a 5+ mile "walk/jog" in and no probs with the knee's. Yeah!!! PT is working. I don't see how I'll do a HM in 10 days, so I signed up for the Ft. Lauderdale HM in February. Long beach weekend as a motivator. |

It's just that I have some deadlines coming up, so I need to get things done. Actually, if I hadn't spent so much time on BT lately, I'd probably be OK. (I organized the October and November challenges. They take a time to set up and run.) D001 - 2009-11-10 7:28 PM iowagander - 2009-11-10 10:24 PM I could use a little stress relief break! It's 10:30 PM, and I'm still working. I'm working from home at least, which is much better than working at work. But it's still BLEH, anyway. disturbed275 - 2009-11-10 6:16 PM iowagander - 2009-11-10 6:09 PM Good afternoon Gobblers! I got ST session #3 done today, as well as a little over 3 miles. It was a nice lunchtime workout which is my second favorite time to workout following early morning. The only problem with early morning workouts is the early part, so lately most of mine have been in the late morning. Oh well Great job Tom! I wish I could get away during my lunch break. It would probably be very therapeutic. It definitely helps. I'm starting to think I should bring my running shoes with me everywhere I go in case I ever need a little stress-relief break... Ugh! Hope you can wrap it up soon Dee. Maybe you should tase your boss tomorrow for revenge. Just a thought... It sounds like your boss appreciates your work, so I'm happy for you. I know not everyone can say that. Please remember that all of us challengers appreciate your work as well. We're aware that you put a LOT of time and effort into this, so THANK YOU very much! |
