Hi guys, Just a drive-by post to say hello and let you all know that I just got home from a 42 mile bike ride and short OW swim. Yay! I feel pretty good. I went with 4 friends and my hubby (does that make it 5 friends? LOL). Anywho, it was kinda fun to get my hubby in the OW with his wetsuit for the first time.

Now I am off to shower, and get a fruit platter put together for a family reunion this afternoon.

That would have made a world of difference with my Step son. He has had to struggle to read his whole life. If I had the time, my dog would LOVE to do that!

It hit 104 here today and yesterday, too. Ugh It was too hot to even go down to the lake. Imagine! I did get a MTB ride in this am. Not as fun as the other day, but I went with some fun people. 2 -3 hours of no responsibility. That and a big ole nap in the AC this afternoon.

How was the weekend for everyone?

I was supposed to do a sprint tri yesterday. I was feeling pretty drained from Saturday and the thought of getting out of bed at 4:00 was not appealing so I skipped it.

I did get a short run in, 2.5 miles. I was scheduled for 5 but it wasn't happening.

I know nothing about the RAGBRAI. Do you know if the dam collapse will affect them in any way?

Robin and Kim were probably out partying last night without us.

I say to wait for her return. She knows where we are. When she is ready I hope our queen returns.

I'm not a fan of this quiet. I'm pretty bored today at work. I may only stay half a day, then go put some miles on my bike this afternoon.

Morning Ann!  Morning Bill!  No partying last night, although I can't vouch for Robin.  I was up and down a good bit of the evening with gastritis.  Not sure what set that off.  Anyhow, got my run in anyway this morning.  Weather was just too nice to skip it.
