It isn't all about you. Amy and I need some enjoyment, too, as well as all of the people that use youtube. Haha. I don't perform for cameras... That's why we have to get you sloppy sloppy drunk first! I don't know if my friend wants to deal with me being sloppy, sloppy drunk? At what point in this trip is it about Amy and I and not just you and your friend?  Maybe we will indulge you for a few hours one night....maybe... I think that would help both Amy and I heal! And really, isn't that what a true gouhlie sister would do? Help her gouhlie sisters heal????  I don't really know how indulging you will help your heart to stabilize and your bone/muscle to heal faster...the healing power of laughter...? |

There is a forest fire across the valley that you could see the flames last night from our house. If it is windy here it is hurricane- like on the ridge. You could see trees explode in flames. I hope they get it under control today. They are bringing in the helicopters to dip from the lake. That is always fun to watch. They get the water right off our place. All I can think of is RUN Bambi, RUN! |

The heart rate monitor had me up for almost 3 hours beeping last night. Now because I haven't slept I'm tired, and my heart is doing weird things, I hope the monitor is picking it up. I'm going to try and get some sleep this morning. |

I remember when I went to visit my sister in CA a few years ago and they were having wildfires everywhere. We actually drove by a fire on the side of the road, got through right before they closed the road. A few acres burned before they got it stopped. We passed a bigger fire heading up to San Francisco. The road was open but the winds carried the smoke across the highway, you could barely see. There was another fire closer to them, too. I remember sitting in her house and you could smell the smoke from the fire, it was eerie. |
