I'm a little slow getting back in the pool - took yesterday off completely and going spinning this morning, but I should be able to get a nice long swim tomorrow and will definitely be over 50% by the end of the weekend (and right on track).

Swam another 1300 meters this evening. The community center was full tonight for some event. I actually had people come out to watch me swim but it wasn't because I was a great swimmer, it was because they thought I was crazy. They were cold and wearing coats and thought I was nuts, I couldn't help but smile inside.

(How cold could it be? You ARE in southern CA, after all. LOL)

Actually, I laughed in the pool the other day. I don't advise it.... I ended up choking on water and coughing for about 30 min.

Why was I laughing? Uh. Nevermind.

I used to swim all the time in an outdoor pool in the winter in eastern Oregon.  I loved swimming with snow all over the ground around me!  The pool was awesome because it was heated with hot spring water!  I miss that pool.

Wow!  That sounds incredible!

No swims scheduled until Saturday, though I might try to do it tomorrow instead.  We'll see.  An evil little woman is going to boss me around on the fitness floor.  If I can move my arms after she's done with me I might try to swim...

OK, even I (who is not a fan of cold) would like to try swimming there. Sounds really nice!
