QueenZipp - 2008-10-03 6:41 AM I can't keep up with this thread!  Please, is there anything I really need to know here? DarkArts note.....DarkArts notes.....

The question is there really ever anything said in here worth knowing????

Naw.  It's socialization, yapping about nuttin'.  Staying ahead on the post count (which I'm quite good at).

LazyMarathoner went shopping and got some good deals - that's worth noting, I guess.

And had a yummy hot chocolate with salted caramel on top!

I see a sling in that avatar of yours.....the team RN needs to know what you did....

BunnyB - 2008-10-03 5:11 PM Afternoon fellow Dark Arts forces! I've been stuck in spreadsheet hell all day at work and haven't had a chance to check in. Well, I did check in at lunch and spent the whole time reading everything I missed this morning. Phil - I saw mention of "trouble tickets" and a "password policy meeting". We must be in the similar fields, I'm guessing. I work in IT and deal with trouble tickets, processes/policies, and service availability metrics. How's the new 305? Are you in full gadget woody mode yet? I (heart) my 305. Beth - Thanks for the Dark Arts Notes!! I look forward to future editions and will try to refrain from whining for them too much. Ok, back to the spreadsheet grindstone for me. Hope everyone is having a great Friday!!

Ya got that right.  I'm a Network geek/Tech Ops/Lan Admin/ad-nauseum-different-name-for-whatever-the-service-I-have-to-do guy (that's a mouthful).

I'm heading out right now to play with my new toy.  Just set it up!  Woo hoo!!

See ya later!

Sorry, I was werking today and posting on the net is not a good idea in my job.  Might pose a risk to PHI or something.....I just glance on the thread periodically

1stTimeTri - 2008-10-03 12:31 PM I remember when I worked at KFC for $3.10 an hour.

I worked as a nurses aide in high school for less.  Cleaning rear ends and all the fun stuff for $2.65/hr.  Yeah......no wonder I ride the desk job now.  I miss some parts of pt care but that part --not a chance!

I forgot how much fun it was to be on a team with Phil and all his posting.  And I see he is busy training Kathrin (with no E), Kristin and Melissa.

Post away!  (mad cackle!)

hmmmm, so I'm gathering that there must have been some discussion around first jobs - probably no surprise for those of you who know me

my first job was swim instructor, followed by lifeguard - and yeah, it's harder than it looks!

My train leaves soon so I didn't have time to run today. Since I've slacked all week, I'll run tomorrow and then if my foot/leg don't protest, I'll add a few miles onto the race.

Hey if you "run" to catch the train, you're good.

Count every step.  LOL
