GOod job y'all on dropping the pounds. That's what it's about - getting healthy. (Without getting obsessive...who me???)

Had a wonderful dinner - a hot dog at Costco. Hey - can't beat the deal. Then picked up some groceries, but my christmas shopping was a total washout. Not even sure what to get the kids.

Well, off to spin a little, and ponder my fate with the new house. It's basically mine if I meet the price. We're about 4000 different. Spent all day figuring out finances and all that fun stuff. Not too much work got done today.

Ok, need some opinions here,

I am training to do a sprint (my first) this summer.  Should be ready by begining of summer I'm thinking (actually before then but no races till then).  Would it be too soon to then train for and complete an oly by the end of summer beginning of fall?

Sorry to those who are with me on the other challenge, just wanted to get everyones thoughts.

No, you can easily do a sprint whike you're training for an oly. I did a sprint 3 weeks before my first oly and it really helped me prepare.

X2.  You should have plenty of time.   The sprint will be a nice tuneup race before the Oly

Guess what? I walked outta Costco and it cost less than $100!! That's a first. Usually I just stock up on a bunch of those 300lb containers of who-knows-what just because they happened to look good.
