wgraves7582 - 2010-03-30 9:52 AM We have ham and spaghetti - I love turkey so that works for me anytime of the year - all the fixings as well!!!!

i was gonna say, we have Ham and Lasgna.  my sister in law makes the BEST scalloped potatoes and lasgna...so we have both every Easter and Thanksgiving and Christmas

It probably is ravioli but I just like ziti and sauce with some Italian Sausage and then mop up the leftover sauce with the ham

EWW

Maybe I'll just serve pizza

and save the brownies for myself.

Ann(e) you don't know what you are missing out on!

I'm missing out on food I don't care for.

Stacie, it is so reassuring to realize that there is a path forward, isn't it?

Neal, 3 months and you are back to 100 miles a month?  You're rockin' it!

Bill, I wish you had your camera, too.  The moonset sounds awesome.  And congrats on your goals.

Robin, I hope you feel better soon.

Melissa, sounds like you are thinking priorities and balance thru.  At least as much balance as a med student and triathlete can have....LOL      (and I agree with Ann ... the only way I could approach those times is with rockets)

Tom, glad you got a ride in.

Ann and Kim, horseback riding brings back good memories.  I rode western in high school ... just for fun, no competing.  But I haven't had a horse since then.

Amy must be out riding her bike

I have reached my original goal of a bike century in a month.  In fact, I should reach  the 110 mile goal that Ann upped the challenge to.  Smile      Did everyone hit their biking Madness goal?

I wish!!! I had a lovely Birthday ride on Sunday with hubby and a couple friends, then yesterday was full of other crap. Apparently my daughter broke her toe yesterday at school, and also has a bladder infection (and is a cranky teenager to start with this week). And my son also has a minor fracture just above his wrist. Mondays are always busy for us with one activity right after another, but then throw in 2 separate visits to the urgent care clinic and the fact that I don't have my hubby or parents around to pitch in this week and it was one loooong day and late night at my house. Thank heavens Monday is over!!!

ironannekidd - 2010-03-30 8:48 AM I have a question for THE VILLAGE

I am having Easter lunch at my house this year. My family, my sister and her family, including her MIL, my brother and his family, my parents, an aunt, and maybe a few friends all over for lunch.

What do I make?

My parents are brining a ham. I was going to make a turkey, not a big fan of ham. I don't know what else goes with an Easter meal though.

I did pick up a box of Ghiradelli(sp) brownie mix.

A little help please

Funeral potatoes, green bean casserole (it's not bad, even though it's green ), some sort of fruit salad, rolls, and then some coffee and yummy desert... cake or strawberries and cream, or angel food cake....dang now I'm hungry!!!

You start cooking and we'll all come over and taste test and then vote on what I should make.

Oh, and I almost forgot the veggie platter. Jicama, bell peppers, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and anything else you want to throw on their. Serve with a couple different dips (like ranch), and you're set.

Come on over! There will be no jumping on the trampoline today, though, it's too windy out there. I won't have my gouhlie friends floating away with the trampoline!!

Ann, they are both doing fine. My son jumped off the couch (or "rolled" off the couch when he's telling me the story...), and fell onto his outstretched hand. That happened just over a week ago, and we've been keeping it wrapped in an ace wrap, but it was still bugging him and since we were already there we decided to do the xray.  My daughter tripped going up the stairs in the school auditorium yesterday during dance class. No shoes, fell flat on her face, only called me couple hours later to get permission to skip the one mile run test during gym class. Silly girl doesn't know how great running is yet.

Did they do anything for your son since he broke it over a week ago?

Not much they can do for a broken toe, other than write a note excusing her from gym class.

Sending healing juju your way. It's pretty windy here so it should get to you fast!

The two of them keep going for rides instead of doing laundry. I would image that they clothes are pretty rank by now!
