BJ's had the B60 with the reusable coffee filter, and 36 k-cups for $129. I couldn't pass that up. I want one. Neal's parents have one....it seemed pretty spiffy... My sister told me about the deal at the big box store. I was just going to get the cheapest one. This one was $30 more than the cheapest and it came with all the coffees and the filter. I'll let you know what I think after I try it. |

Middle school principal, who also works as a lifeguard was arrested for filming boys in high school locker room. Unbelievable. So very sad and disgusting. He has a daughter at the high school where it happened. I have several friends with kids at the middle school. Heard this before. Well liked. No one saw it coming. Such a nice guy etc etc. Not sure how we get the radar set to spot these guys before this chit happens.
That is awful !! I feel sorry for his daughter. What a thing to have to face as you go thru high school.
Oh that is just AWFUL. Everyone gets scarred when something like this happens. I agree, makes vigilante justice feel okay. frickin preeeverts! that is such a violation to all those poor kids! and as a parent I would be soooo p~o'd! nice guy is exactly what he is noT!!! he takes advantage of people with a nice people facade! really sad that there are so many of these peeps out there and that this has become so familiar! |

Making chicken pot pie and gumbo right now so Neal has food for the next 2-3 months to eat and so I can go out for dinner tomorrow night before the Iowa game.Making food for him gives me something to do while I wait for him to finish work... I may also make a trip to the grocery store to get some bananas and other stuff. Going to make some eggs and toast for lunch before I start up the gumbo and pot pies. I made shephards pie last night and split pea and ham soup the night before. wow sounds like you should be in chef school not med school~ can I be neal? Im hungry!!! |

I had thought I turned in my programming assignments on the 21st, that was the final day. I spent an hour submitting assignments. My prof never got them. He submitted the form for an extension for me until February. Now I have time to fix the ones that didn't work. THIS IS HUGE FOR ME! I don't like getting bad grades, so with the extension, instead of him giving me all zero's, I should still be able to do well in the class! |

Yesterday we went with friends to see the movie, Warhorse. It was pretty good. About what I was expecting. I don't like watching animals being treated poorly, so some of it was hard to watch though probably true to life. It is set in WWI and did a pretty good job of depicting the misery of war. Overall, I would say it was interesting but not great. But then I am one who has always been appalled that Black Beauty would be considered a children's book! |

Its coming down today. lots of work to do today. Short week ~ im with ann and plan on three day since that is what my dd and dh are working....actually dh is off today and we will be going on a bike ride mid afternoon and then we are off to shop with some gift cards we received. hope you all have a great day ann ~ rest up and have pizza delivered so you dont have to cook and wont have to smell sausage robin ~ glad no ethyl and lucy monitoring for you....have a nice short week dee ~ enjoy your steak/scallops ~ send me your recipe if you can where's everyone else? But then again, we all knew that since he is a Ghoulie!Yo...from Iowa. It is cold........I missssss MAUI! Haha. Hope everyone had a good Xmas. Neal and I had fun with his family! They got me some cool presents for travelling. Haha. Neal got me and engraved frame with my Ironman time and date and stuff on it and put one of my finishing chute pictures in it! I got Neal this ridiculous 3'x5' hawkeye flag and a hawkeye iphone case. I can't believe I indulged his obsession! Haha. Making some soup with the leftover ham that his Mom sent home with us today! I think Neal and I are going to go for a swim once he gets off work. |
